Such kind faces at 7am. Always friendly, efficient and QUICK! I usually get the basic 2+2+2+hashbrowns (they make em extra crispy…. Yum. The weird thing is…, for a breakfast spot - the clientele seem to forget they’re indoors…it’s early some haven’t had their coffee… I always end up being forced to hear every detail of every story… times 4. From across the room. Don’t get me wrong, I have heard some hilarious stuff…, but why do I need to dragged into it just because I’m sitting there. Don’t let that keep you from this place - it really is a gem!

Quaint little hub with variety of New Mexican, sandwiches, sweet/savory crepes, bagel meals, and of course coffee. Staff was friendly and it was a good Location to get work done. Lovely wooden furniture and there is outdoor seating too. I ordered the veggie crepe and plain latte. With a two dollar tip, it came out to over 16 which seemed a bit steep- especially when the buckwheat crepe contained only tomatoes, feta, onion, spinach, a few nuts. Also no latte art or mug like some other pix show. But I encourage you to visit and check out some of the other options!

Java Joe's is right. The best part of this place is definitely the coffee. The food was good but not great. The tables are small and the artwork is cute but way way way overpriced. They only take your order and bring it to you, there's no wait staff and that's OK. Small portions but tasty and priced the same as any other mom and pop breakfast place. $20 and up for a plate and coffee.

Excellent breakfast and espresso drinks every time I have visited! The art is also not to be missed and frequently changes to showcase different artists. A must visit for locals and anyone who wants an authentic Berqueño vibe 🌶

Hands down the best coffee I've had in Albuquerque. The food is pretty good, too. The interior decor is cute and artsy, and the servers seem nice. However, if you want a table don't go on the weekends. It's utterly packed, and there is no place to sit while you wait. There isn't even a place to stand, really. There isn't full table service either. The last time we went there wasn't a single open table and no hostess, so we left. Counter service is available, but minimal table service. Coffee refills are also your job. I kinda feel that for no table service the prices are a bit high. I would not consider this place handicapped accessible either. It's a small space, and the tables are placed rather close together. If you can get in, there is more room in the back dining room.

I can't believe I've never written a review! I absolutely love Java Joe's and have been coming here for probably 20 years or more. The food is fab, the coffee is always delicious, the staff fast and friendly. I love how they showcase local art and really support and uplift the community. The owners are really kind people as well. I almost always get the Huevos Rancheros or the Mondo Veggie burrito. I love that they have vegan options and can mod anything. My only wish is that they had baby changing tables in the bathrooms. 👏

I feel like I ordered the wrong thing here. The veggie crepe - which sounded divine and was ultimately the reason I decided to visit - was full of mostly uncooked veggies. (The pastries looked awesome, so I would probably stick to those next time.) The blueberry granola pancakes were fine. Coffee was good. The place has charm, but the bathroom needs a serious upgrade. A more accurate rating for my experience would probably be 3 stars, but I don't want to hurt business and would probably stop by again.

Awesome place! Great coffee as well as the food. The owner Mike is a super friendly guy who not only guided us on what to order here but all the other cool local spots. If I lived here it would be my go to spot for sure. Really chill good vibes at this place ! Highly recommend.

My favorite coffee place in town. They have excellent food and coffee, which for some reason is hard to find both at one place!

Driving through Albuquerque and stopped here for a late breakfast. Ordered a jasmine tea, earl grey white chocolate chip scone and a breakfast burrito = $12! The tea was good, the burrito was great but the scone was way too sweet with the icing on top. I would recommend this place and come back again!

One of my favorite coffee shops. Wonderful vibe and atmosphere. I come here almost every lunch when I work. Sit down and have coffee and a pastry. The staff are warm and friendly and the entire place is kept tidy and clean. Local art which can be purchased adorns the walls. For the life of me, I have no idea how they made the color red feel mellow. Can't recommend this place enough.

All for ditching single use. Atmosphere is nice once you get inside. I can tell this place is a hidden gem. They have regulars and they know this place is good. Not enough of their specialty drinks can come without milk. Their crepes are gluten free and taste great. Glad to see pinons used locally. They know what they are doing.

Loved the atmosphere and ambience and the staff but the food is a little bland compared to many other places serving similar fare. Their green chile soup, for example, does not hold a candle to Cecelia's. However, there are many healthy options and the price is very reasonable.
