Great atmosphere and very upbeat, pleasant staff. The food was so fresh! Kayla the bartender made some wonderful recommendations and was a pleasure to have while making me feel well taken care of. I have gone twice so far and plan to visit again soon.. perfect spot for after-work drinks, an intimate dinner, drinks with the girls, or a nice hang at the bar on your own.

Service is incredible. Filet cooked blue is wonderful. The crab bisque is out of this world. The pork belly was not good. Cooked way too fast and was like chewing leather. If you don't like blue/rare steak, and go med rare, it seems dry. But the blue filet was SO good. Really, the service was awesome. Unmatched.

Black and blue steak and crab is to die for! It's so modern and elegant in there. The selection of food is mouth watering. I got the steak which was cooked perfect! The Mac and cheese is not your regular one, it is out of this world. I couldn't stop eating it. The service here is impeccable. The staff are so nice when it comes to drink, they make literally whatever you want to drink. I definitely recommend here!

Despite differences in ordering preferences all of the steaks came out medium rare. The asparagus is clearly labeled on the menus having pickled onion. If you choose the brussel sprouts which do not indicate that, they will have pickled onions on them they too. However I was told the place is normally better.

Firstly, the overall service was welcoming but a little pushy. This was my first time at black & blue. I felt a bit uncomfortable when my choice was suggested to be replaced with a different option. The overall feel of this restaurant is warming and ambient. The food on the other hand had questionable flavors, other than the appetizers and sides. Steak was cooked well but lacked flavor. I assumed it would be cooked in the sauce but unfortunately not. They also didn’t inform us of the sparkling water being charged to our bill. They did give us bread though. My boyfriend and I were also thrown off guard when they suggested to get more than one appetizer, going back to the pushiness. My boyfriend and I ordered two different cuts of steak to see if there was a difference but unfortunately they tasted the same with them having a $30 difference. I understand this a mid to high class restaurant however compared to other steakhouses the taste isn’t there and their cuts specifically. My boyfriend and I would definitely go back if we get to a higher tax bracket. We rate it a 2.5 out of 5 stars.

Our first time at Black & Blue and the menu was great, the food was really delicious, and the service was attentive and friendly. The food and service truly deserve 5 stars. So why am I giving it 2 stars? Because the ladies room TOTALLY skeeved me out and made me lose my appetite! The gnarly corners on the floor and built up filth on the tiles behind the toilet made me feel like I was in a Starbucks restroom in midtown Manhattan, not a restaurant where I was ordering a $59 steak. Things were broken and disheveled, just generally off putting. As I looked around, I started thinking about what the kitchen might look like if that's how the bathrooms are taken care of. It was a real turn off and completely unexpected - a major disconnect from the image they are trying to convey. I really wanted this restaurant to be upscale. I also understand that staffing is rough these days so maybe that's why the restrooms aren't a priority, but yuck. Would I go back? Probably someday. But, I'd do my very, very, very best to avoid the ladies room.
