Ruby Red Flamingo

The setting is lovely. We were seated outside in the quaintly decorated marquee. The service was attentive and the pasta dishes received compliments all round with members of our party saying they would be happy to return to the resturant again to eat the same dishes. The only hiccup was that the resturant didn't respond to the message left to call back regarding booking a table and we had to follow up.

Went here a few weeks ago and the food was amazing so we decided to come back, but we were disappointed. Charged $8 for a bottle of still table water, which didn't happen last time and wasn't listed with a price on the menu. They forgot part of our order and it took sometime to get the attention of the waitress to check on it. When they brought it out after that, it was a bit under done. It was chalk and cheese between the standard of service a few weeks ago and tonight, which we couldnt figure out why. The pasta was still very tasty

My partner and I normally LOVE going to this restaurant. It’s such a good feed with great prices. I had to reduce the stars on the review tonight because of the dining experience. There was a very large group of ladies who dined indoor, and they were RIDICULOUSLY loud. There were maybe 3 other couples sitting closely next to their table as well (because of such a small room) and I could see how annoyed everyone was. It really wasn’t a pleasant experience. I feel as though the staff at Ruby Red should’ve said something to them or should have arranged the seating better. Haven’t been here for a little while now, and was overall disappointed in this experience.
