Mcdonald's

As McDonald's goes, this one is excellent. The drive through is super fast, and most of the staff are friendly. It's McDonald's, not gourmet, but when you want a fast and inexpensive burger, fries, and the best Coke or sweet tea you'll find in a drive through, this place is a goto. The food is always good, and there's an uncommon (to McDonald's on general) caring that goes into order assembly. Mistakes are rare, and they're quick and friendly to resolve when it happens.

Food is fine, but go through drive thru or inside for mobile orders. I had a curbside marked complete without receiving food. After 15+ minutes I went inside and then had employees argue with me over sauces. I'm fine with paying extra for extra limited sauces, but not when the app says they're free *and* I get ignored in the curbside spot. It wasn't during a lunch or dinner rush, so there was no backlog of orders.

McDonald’s is the only place where you can smile and no matter how kind you are they won’t speak or respond they just shove the bag in your face and slam the window. I long await the day an employee here smiles and actually has a customer focused attitude. It’s amazing they are still in business but if I was a franchise owner friendly employees could make you so much money. This is one of the better locations just need to ditch the attitudes. The one with the red hair is not the nicest she’s not rude but not nice either. Oddly enough normally the one taking the money is friendlier- maybe swap the deployment and have the last interaction be with the nicer person.

It is pretty hard to give any McDonald's a 5 start rating for it's good, because it's McDonald's... But the Mars Hill Acworth location has the very best staff! They always smile, are kind, polite (a HUGE bonus today when everyone else in food service are surely and rude), and they don't just throw the food in your window. They also have a working shake machine! Whaaaaat?! 😱😁.
