Been going to the Akash since it opened 40 years ago. The staff are always friendly and polite and the food is consistantly good. Perhaps a little more expensive than some of their competitors but the tray full with a lot more meat. Worth the extra in my opinion.
I haven’t had Akash in years. Just ordered it and my god the food is still absolutely amazing!

Such a shame its gone so downhill. Burnt sheka kebabs without the sauce requested. Tasteless curries but great heat. Soggy mushy chips. Not great will be changing back to mitali.
The chef Salim knocked it out of the park, other than the spice that is traditional, I’m not sure my curry had a name. I told him all the things I like (flavours/heat) from curries I’ve had and he created me a bespoke curry! the best curry I’ve ever tasted!! 1 million % recommend!!!!
I bought chicken tikka masalla last night suace was terrible and garlic narm had no garlic very unpleasant meal won't be going again
Food pink and uncooked got chicken korma made me ill and I paid to be ill £38
