Disappointing. Staff did not seem happy or welcoming. First time we been. We had hot pot which we generally love but not this one. Not great quality and the meat was cut too thick for hot pot.

The food is very tasty and service is amazing. Its like a hidden gem for people interested in oriental cuisine. We dined pretty late wandering on the streets for something unique. Although we are yet to try their shabu shabu (hot pot), the two items we tried were absolute hit. We will definitely visit the place again soon!

This turns out to be my comfort food during winter. I really have something for soups and knowing that shabu-shabu is just around I am so thankful to find myself fulfilling my pallete. The service was actually quick. Though the sauces are self-served, the facility comes clean and conducive. The tables are usually for big groups and the price I believe is good value.

The foods are great and freshly cooked especially the buns. It was tasty partnered with condensed milk. The noodles is great as well and it’s flavorful. Shabu-shabu is the highlight of all. One of the great Shabu-shabu in the city. <br/><br/>The reason why I gave 3stars is because of the poor service we recieved. No one greet us upon entering the restaurant and it took some time for the staff to cater us.

The food was served very fresh compare to nearest Shabu shabu restaurant. it is cheaper than i expected as well. What i love more about in this place was the starter bread dip in caramelized condensed. Kudos for the unlimited water melon, it will match your appetite with the chili soup.

Xiao Hong Niu Hot Pot is also known as HOPO, the restaurant is along Salahuddin Street. Their iron (glass) noodles, eggplant in iron pot, mixed siomai, hotpot and golden bread are must try's! We usually share the hotpot for 2 even if we are 4. They also have bottomless plum juice. At the sauce section, they serve slices of watermelon as well. If you are a frequent customer the very polite & friendly manager would give you a discount :)

I have been here so many times as this is my favorite place for hot pot in Dubai. The place is clean, with good lighting, and the staff are friendly and all smiles! I usually have the golden buns, and mushrooms, veggies, tofu & crab roe balls in a spicy soup base. I love how they put so many sauces on the table which allows customers to customize. I usually have chilies, cilantro and peanut sauce.

Dined here a few days ago and my, were we in for a treat! We ordered the spicy hot pot. The soup is the best there is for a chilly weather. It has the right concoction and fusion of asian flavors that we love. Those fried buns dipped in sweetened milk make the perfect dessert to neutralize the spicy flavors. Food came in quickly, I appreciate the service. I'd come back again for a second serving.

I had a bad experience with hot pot before, because the first time I tried a hot pot is a fail. I didn't like it at all. So when my friend asked me to go hot pot I'm quite undecided but ended up coming here. It was so good and whenever I'm craving for hot pot, this is were I go. We always order the half spicy and not spicy plus chicken or beef strips (thinly slice), crab meatballs, lettuce, spinach, black mushroom, lotus, rice and their tea. I love their herbal tea (which is good when your eating hot foods) they're also serving nuts while they're preparing your meal and you can chose if you want some condiments from your food or no. If yes, there is an additional charge for that one (I believe 2dhs). After your meal you can have some complimentary Fruits (oranges or melon) and they will give you a gum after. If you're planning to eat here, make sure you come early because most of the time especially during dinner time you need to wait outside because there is no sits available.

One of the good places to get a good hotpot. The food is awesome, affordable, and served fast! I love the watermelons 🍉 after dining in.. I could eat as much as I wanted!! <br/><br/>The only thing about this place is it's dining tables are few, so better get seated while you can otherwise you ll have to wait for your turn

First time in a hot pot restaurant.. The soup was excellent and filling.. Something different.. Was suggested by my friend.. Server was friendly but could have been better but u can't expect too much from a budget restaurant I believe.. Got filled up with the soup only so next time visit is a must to try the other dishes..

I love their shabu-shabu for the reason that they have variety of unlimited sauces. Take all you want whatever you feel will satisfy you. <br/>Ambiance and service is good, but for the shabu shabu they should add more ingredients, the 80+ aed is a bit too much for just veggies, fishballs and tofu.

Hotpot it is. Setting looks like the normal eateries in the hidden alleys in Shanghai. Dark walls dimly lit with hanging paper lanterns. Serving was alot. I'm not really a fan of hotpot. But this one went out well. Didn't have stomach problems after unlike the hotpot Iv tried before. Flavorful soups. And generous amount of serving. Staff were attentive and knowledgeable of their menu and accommodating and friendly.

My friend and I decided to try out this new Chinese Hotpot restaurant which is located very close to Salah Ud Din Metro Station.<br/><br/>The restaurant looked new and clean and very bright. The Manager informed us that they launched this restaurant last year (2013).<br/><br/>The options in the menu were limited and so we had to stick to seafood and vegetables mostly. The broth in the soup was much better and the soup tasted quite good. They had variety of sauces.<br/><br/>The service was pretty slow and there were only two servers catering to all the tables. As a result, we had to call them several times to refill our soup. Even we had to wait at the reception to pay our bills since the servers kept on forgetting to bring our bill to our table.<br/><br/>Other than that, the food was okay although the quantity was less compared to other hotpot restaurants in Dubai.<br/><br/>As for me, I will stick to the Xiao Wei Yang franchise for the time being.

Очень бюджетное, но при этом чистое и приятное кафе. Подаваемые блюда я бы не рискнул назвать китайскими, скорее по мотивам китайской кухни. Очень часто бываем там, всегда заказываем примерно одно и тоже, качество стабильное. Порции довольно большие, порцию лапши с говядиной смело можно делить на 2 а то и на 3 человека, особенно если берете салат или другие закуски. Специи можно выбрать или намешать самим, для этого стоит отдельный стол. Чек вас обрадует :) в хорошем смысле.

I am first time authentic chines eater. This restaurant is best place for beginners. Halal Chinese to the starters. Go for hotpot to relishing the real Chinese food. Clean, hygiene and 5 star service. Good large portion "enough for 2" of serving for you are going for a la Carta.
