Nice outing, they keep enough space between tables and are happy to serve you. Can’t remember the servers name but he did a pretty awesome job to make sure everything was alright, keep it up!! Had Grilled chicken pasta and the mozzarella salad, but were fine for a casual dinner. Happy they have everything on the table: olive oil, balsamic oil, pepper/salt, wet whipes and napkins.

The place to go for a quick and tasty italian dinner. We tried two different pasta and they were both perfectly cooked al dente, as we requested. The complimentary bruschetta bread served at the beginning of our meal was also very good. Waiters were very kind and attentive, bravo! We will come back to try other dishes for sure.

It started with a warm welcome by the lovely staff as we first walked in, and ended with great food and a wonderful time.<br/>We ordered the chicken in mushroom sauce, mushroom risotto and beef pasta with broccoli. They were all delicious. We also had some dessert, also delicious.<br/>Would definitely come back, as the chicken dish especially was my favourite and worth having again.

We love the friendliness of your staffs as we entered the restaurant. Food was superb with an authentic taste of Italy. A must-try would be the “Misto Dello Chef” to begin with. They have quite a huge range of choices to please your palate.<br/><br/>Ambiance is very comfy, especially the outdoor area which gives a feeling of dining in a garden grounds.<br/><br/>We’d definitely recommend this to our family and friends.

The tiramisu was more mascarpone than anything else and could use some improvement. Overall, it wasn't bad and the taste for both dishes were good, however, I will most likely try the other pizza places next time.

I had the insalata verde and ravioli with ricotta and spinach.... the salad was very sad with mostly iceberg lettuce the pasta was not fresh, there was too much dough and the dough was too thick and hard. The stuffing was not evenly distributed in the pasta which just added to the disappointment. If you want authentic Italian this is not the place.

The portions are a little small, the main dish would not be enough for a regular person but he quality is good. Price to portion is a little high for a restaurant of that caliber. A good simple restaurant with great potential to be a beacon for Italian cuisine in this part of Dubai. However, they are not just there yet.. the service was satisfactory and the food quality was good (although my spaghetti with clams were overloaded with garlic) but they are missing the wow factor by being just another good Italian restaurant. Prices are competitive. As I said, a good little restaurant with good food and good presentation but certainly more potential to grow.

Tomato & Basilico is a very good choice if you happen to be in the Motorcity area. the phone is of excellent quality although a bit overpriced for the overall value. the only one small area for improvement would be the chicken pizza. we found the base of the pizza very soft and soggy while the pepperoni Pizza was top class. The pollo alla diavo... was excellent.<br/><br/>My only issue is that the prices on the menu are excluding VAT. However as per law all prices displayed in a menu should be inclusive of taxes. We are already in the fourth month of the year and hence the menu cards should have been changed. I will await a response before I report this.<br/><br/>

An hidden gem in Dubai for Italian cuisine lovers. We tried the fried calamari and the parmigiana as appetizer followed by an amazing risotto alla pescatora and sea bass with zucchini and potatoes. The Motor City Branch has lovely outdoor seating that one can enjoy when the weather is good.<br/><br/>If you are craving a pizza or anythin other Italian dish, do try Tomato and Basilco. Been to the restaurant in Motor City once with my girlfriend and the staff was extremely attentive. They greeted us at the door and helped us to our table. They kept on monitoring us throughout our meal checking if everything was okay or if we needed anything. <br/>I always order delivery from them. The quality of the meals is excellent! They always arrive warm and always taste delicious! True Italian cuisine. From the pizzas, all the way through pasta and risotto to the desserts, you can expect great food. One of my favorites in Dubai.

Had been here last weekend. The food and service was absolutely amazing!<br/>The weather being beautiful we decided to sit outside. Weere presented with complementary hummus with pita bread on arrival. <br/>Then we went in for burrata, cheesy eggplant (parmegiana de melanzane), roasted potatoes for starters with our refreshing mojito and watermelon juice.<br/><br/>For main course we had pasta in pink sauce which was specially customised on request by the warm staff to suit our Indian taste buds. We then had spaghetti carbonara and tomato and basilico pizza.<br/><br/>All in all it is a great place for authentic Italian experience.<br/>
