Nadan Adukala is located right on the main street in Bur Dubai bang opp Aster Clinic. A small restaurant with space for families upstairs as well as on the outside. Serving Authentic home made style Kerala cusines and not too heavy on the pockets too. The portion size of their Main courses is served in big size earthen pots and we were surprised to see the fare so affordable. <br/><br/>We started with the Veg Manchow Soup, it was very good and refreshing. Good Soup to start with. Mango Salad is one which you must try, sweet, salted as well as spicy. This one is a riot of flavors and good as a starter as well as accompaniment with main courses.<br/><br/>King Fish Fry homestyle, we enjoyed a hot and big size King fish after a long time. Along with this we had fried prawns in traditional Kerala style masala and a tadka of crispy Curry leaves made it just fantastic. Fish Chutty Curry with King fish is superb in taste and a very thick gravy. We enjoyed this with their Aapam. The size of the serving Chatty was family size. One family can easily feast on this.<br/><br/>Meen Varutharacha Curry is another good Sherry fish curry. Very nice consistency and we asked for medium spicy and they made it just perfect. We enjoyed this with wheat Parotha. The Parota itself was nice and thick and very soft. Fish Pollichathu made of Hamour fish wrapped in a Bananna leaf and cooked in steam home style. The gravy inside was too good to describe. The fish was cooked in the steam nicely. This is a very healthy cusine. Very heavenly in taste. Very highly recommended.<br/><br/>The Mango and Kulfi Falooda was for the finale. Extremely satisfying and tasty. <br/><br/>Overall loved the food served here, the beauty of it is the freshness of the seafood used in the cooking. If you are simply looking for a place to have good standard food, this is the place..

Had been today when I was in Bur Dubai . IT was already late and I was a regular in this area long back but never been to this restaurant. Decided to order the pothi chicken biryani . The order came after some time . the biryani itself wasnt tasty despite adding more masala on request and it lacked taste or spicyness of any kind . Not a good experience . Not sure If i will be back .

Starting from Dhs. 4, you get Vada, Idli, Dosas, Pooris, and so much more.<br/><br/>We had a Mysore Masala Dosa, Vada, and Idli Sambar. Decided to order a take away from this wonderful restaurant. The food here is exceptionally delicious giving us a homely feeling. ne of the best local kerala cuisine in town at the moment. naadan adukkala got the best out of me serving my favorite rice and fish dishes. Located in Mankhool, they have an amazing location and upstair ambiance to enjoy some lunch. We tried their Pothi chor, Biriyani with Chicken or Fish, cooked, heated & served in Banana leaf. For the fish, We tried the King fish fry, Prawns fry and some squid roast as well. With some Pineapple kulukki sarbath, the feast here is a total delight.

This is one tiny little place in karama best known for the authentic kerala food. We had charcoal pepper chicken ( sorry was too damm yummy to clik pics) and mutton curry which the gravy was good however the mutton was a bit chewy as per my standards. The falooda was average. The mango salad was really amazing . This is a must visit place in karama if you crave authentic kerala spicy north kerala food

But Mr Bobin who served us, made sure we didn’t miss out on their bestsellers! Here is the complete list of what we had:<br/>Mango salad- definitely a good way to start our dinner<br/>Pepper charcoal chicken- loved this one! Loved the use of the highlighted spice ‘pepper’ in this grilled chicken preparation. The chicken was marinated so well!<br/>Kada fry- which is basically quail fry. This was a deep fried starter and tasted good<br/>Fish pollichathu- hamour fish was cooked to perfection and presented in a banana leaf. There was ample masala covering the fish, and I loved this one!<br/>Beef kizhi- This was just decent. The masala used was okayish, and the beef pieces weren’t all that great. This also came in a banana leaf.<br/>Mutton chatty curry- The gravy was awesome, but the mutton was not good, it was rubbery. Wished the mutton pieces were cooked well as it didn’t feel like the pieces belonged to the otherwise amazing curry<br/>Chicken pothi biriyani- Loved this one! The Biriyani rice in itself tasted so good. This was an absolutely enjoyable dish!<br/>Chicken porotta kizhi- Not a fan of this. Way way too much oil was used. The porotta could not be eaten as it was drenched in oil<br/>Appam- decent<br/>Porotta (normal and wheat)- good <br/>Puttu- the combination of puttu (steamed rice powder with coconut) and the mutton curry was match made in heaven! Mind blowing!<br/>Mango falooda- I wouldn’t recommend this one! Sour fruit pieces in the falooda didn’t make it quite enjoyable<br/>Watermelon and lime juices- both were good, no complaints<br/>Black tea- good <br/><br/>Overall, it was a good evening where most of the food items we had were good, only some failed to impress! Also, a small request would be to cut down on the oil used in most of the dishes!

Sad plc. Had ordered charcoal chicken, guess the cook took it literally, the chicken was as black as charcoal. Felt as if the chicken was first dried under the hot sun and then fried till black. The khubus that came along was so hard that it could be used as a flying disc to play. The hammus was spoilt 100%. The salad seemed like the remains of a vegetable shop. Last but not the least, the garlic sauce was good.<br/>I will never ever eat again here.

Had Chapatti fish Curry last night and they charged 90 AED only for the curry. I wondered why? I didn't find anything special in that restaurant, as ordinary and in first floor, I am a foodie and had food from most of restaurants in Dubai but no where they charge 90. be careful while choosing the dish I inquired the cashier regarding the price, he simply said "it is seasonal". I was working with a Sea food processing company and wont charge more than 15 for that three pieces of King Fish in which one was from the head.

They also have Arabic, Chinese cuisine etc. Very budget friendly place with an outdoor seating arrangement- just opposite to the entrance of the Meenabazar area. <br/> While returning from a swimming session in the sea, I was hungry and ventured in. I ordered an aloo paratha and a chana dal. It cost me @6 dhs. The paratha was a bit oily and non-descript. The chana was made with lots of coconut and curry leaves. For a person with East Indian taste, this didn't gel well with me. The service was okay. He tried his best to make me happy.

If only I had read the reviews before, I would not have made the disastrous decision of having dinner from here today. We just wanted to try out this new restaurant and hopped in for dinner. Ordered wheat porotta and chilly gobi and what was served was made of maida ( I just dont understand why they mention wheat in their menu if this is what they serve) and the gobi was full of food color with just below average quality. Over priced as well. Took more than 30 minutes to be served that too when there were only around 2 or 3 more tables occupied. Worst part, the quality of food has deprived us of our sleep today!! (If you get what I mean)<br/>Never to visit again!!!<br/>##worst restaurant in dubai##nadan only in name.

I completely support Mr. Dileeban who had given his review before me.<br/><br/>Quality of food - Poor<br/>Worth for money - Very Poor<br/>Delivery Time - Poor<br/>Packing - Very Bad<br/><br/>It was my first order and was very curious about their food as I have been waiting for them to open it. Ordered Pepper Chicken Masala and Chappathi. Believe me it was 'Pepperless' 😡😡😡 Masala. The gravy was normal gravy like what we get in many normal cafeterias as free of cost along with some dry dish. Chappathi was too hard and made of maida. They charged Dhs 16/- 😳😳😳 for that curry. My flat was just opposite to their building still it took almost 1hr to deliver. Packing was so pathetic 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 not worth for the money what you pay. Think 🤔🤔🤔twice before you order. They need to improve a lot more to exist a place like this. Never again.

Have visited this place for lunch with my family on a friday. Food is below average, non veg meal is priced at 12, but not even worth for free, no salt, not spicy enough, no flavor- blunt. We ordered a netholy fry, which is 12dhs for 6 small pieces not even 5cm in length and absolutely no taste, tastes horrible.<br/>Only good thing is the staff, they are trying to be good and pleasing the customers, but not really trained enough to be upto their competitors at least. They need to correct themselves a lot, by visiting their competitors, if they intend to survive.<br/>Never visit again, unless, i see some good comments on Zomato again.

Located in Bur Dubai, a small space with upstairs and outside dinning.<br/>We only try kizhi paratha and Chicken biryani, yes it was worth it.Kizhi paratha which have a lot of curry in it .. Biryani was totally yummy and they are ready to serve extract rice if needed. The service was satisfactory.
