It was a mind blowing night at @mcgettiganspubs JLT! Amazing time of great music and food was made even exciting when finally, the five millionth pint has been ordered and prize was awarded to the winner! What I think about their food? The over baked sea bass was perfectly cooked and I loved the side vegetables. Their mushroom soup was a surprise for me. You can definitely smell the aroma of the wild mushrooms used. But what really stole my the heart was their pork belly popcorn. The flavor combination of soy, honey and sesame seeds made my taste buds happy.

Friday Brunch Irish Experience The place and environment was nicely unexpected! With live entertainment and a host making you feel that you are literally in an Irish bar, with competitions and prizes to go for. Brunch is fairly priced given the options available (read the description in the pictures to know what I ordered). Great to go with your family or a group of friends. There is a non smoking area so that was perfect!! Best way to start your weekend with great vibes 🎈✨

Mcgettigan’s is located inside Bonnington Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Cluster J, Dubai. It was started in Yr. 2010 and they are known for its live music, comedy, sport and quality food. You can enjoy playing pool and watch your favourite sports while having their scrumptious food. A perfect hangout spot I would say. The guests in Bonnington Jumeirah Lake Towers are in for a treat for sure. Due to the pandemic, they have maintained the safety standards and distancing between the tables. The servers were all suited up safely to serve us. Now the best part is you can take your family too, they can be seated in the non smoking area. Came to know about the Kids eat for free offer which is an ongoing promotion at the moment. So how it works is grown ups can order for a main from their vast variety of options and the kids can choose for a dish from their menu for free. I went on to order Grilled Salmon, it comes along with warm quinoa, sweet potato, edamame, peppers and confit tomatoes. Well the presentation was really amazing and it was really appetizing, since the salmon was cooked to perfection and fresh. My son went on to order the Panko Crumb Fish Finger which comes along with Fries, Lemon and Tartar Sauce. Well he went on to finish it really fast and enjoyed it. I even tried the fish finger, it was crispy and fresh. For the dessert you can order an Ice cream as well. Ended with a hot cappuccino and it was satisfying. All in all the experience was good.

the place is amazing during any football games. Beers are reasonably priced and the ambience is great for a weekend night out drinking. Best part the music isn't loud so you can also have your business meetings if you wish to. The staff is very helpful and makes sure you get served on time.

Never thought I’d be writing a positive review for food at mcgettigans but credit where credit is due!! Bold statement coming, best buffalo chicken wings I’ve had! The sauce taste was perfect and so was the cook on the meat. The quality of the wings was good too. Filipino female staff at the door tonight (9th June) were super nice. Politeness and friendly and big smiles always sets off a good meal.

We planned first time for this place for Friday brunch. So visited this place. As it was Friday as usual it was crowded. So in brunch I can say have very limited option of the drinks & common brand or drink is Heineken & if we are talking about shots also not available in the same. So if you need different beer or need shots you have to pay separately for that. In menu of brunch they have some options available for snacks which never came to our table. Now lets come to the food buffet again i can say much variety or options but still manageable with drinks.

Very bad management, we ordered drinks and they got removed from our table without our permission, the manager of the place admitted they were stolen by someone in the place; of the staff or the customers, he checked the camera and he said yes a customer took your bottles and my staff removed the empty ice bucket after, as simple as that. I have no idea what is the role of the manager or the team or why they were hired. His negotiation skills were below zero and he has no idea about customer service. So simply going to this place was a loss of money and time.

While I've been a regular to this place and also have one of their loyalty cards I had an unfortunate experience today. I work very late at a walkable distance and sometimes I come here for a drink when I leave work post midnight. Tonight, it was 1.30am and the security representative at the door unceremoniously refused to let me in saying it's closed and there's no one inside. While that wasn't a very credible thing to say, I only wish if you let prospective patrons know that you won't be accepting guests beyond a certain time even though your closing hours are at 3am. I understand you have serving policies, but it's slightly disrespectful when the bouncer looks you in the eye, smiles unabashedly and says you're closed -all the while standing right beside a sign that says your operating hours are from 12pm to 3am. That being said, I've always had a great time in every previous visit. :)

One of the JLT waterholes, McGettigan's JLT is a lively place for a pint and proper pub grub. The long happy hours are welcome, so you can take advantage even after a hard day at work. The staff and service are top notch. I've tried their Chicken Wings and Fish and Chips. Would recommend both dishes all day every day along with a cold one. Do head down during Ladies Nights and Quiz Nights! The place really comes alive then!

Had been there for a bottomless brunch and had a good time. Was quite impressed with their cocktails. They had a mango cocktail with mango pulp. It was so great. Food was also good. Had bangers and mash. Mash and gravy were tasty but they put those cheap, frozen sausages instead of nice(r) ones they had before. Tasted like a hot dog sausage. Waaaaay overpriced for what it was. Also, waiter came to charge for a pint and a meal before the food even arrived. A bit rude if you ask me.

High quality pub food. Lovely fish and chips...crispy chips, meaty flaky fish and big portions. Its hard to find proper English fish and chips in Dubai, this Irish pub fills that void when you have a craving. Other nibbles look good too, I always go for the same dish as mentioned so can’t really comment on any of the other food however people always look satisfied with what they’re eating.

My latest 2 visits in both Madinat and JLT branch has made me question if I will keep visiting the brand, you obviously have shortage of staff everywhere due to cost cutting but that doesn’t mean that costumers should wait 20 min for a drink, waiters are nowhere to be found on the floor as one person is running 12 tables and they all ignore you ... frankly I understand them as its not their fault and provably they are fed up The band was the reason I came last Thursday . And overall they played 1.5 hr all the night, they were doing breaks every 30 min... I mean if you have a band you have a band all night one break for 15 min and thats it Really sad to see one more reputable venue drowning.... adjust to changes by proper strategy

The ambience of this place is very lovely. I had a chance to visit them in the afternoon, unfortunately it was hot but yet I enjoyed the vibe of this place. I ordered a nice cold beer and a portion of Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was very bland and not up to mark. I feel like my experience would have been great if the food was a slightly better. The staff was very helpful. Maybe you can visit and try this place and get lucky with you food.

Spacious and lively place to hang out and enjoy some beers with your friends. Its cosy yet elegant and it's never a dull moment. It's mostly quite crowded and full of noise. Definitely a good option to watch football matches as well. The food is mostly good however please improve the way you serve melted cheese. I ordered fries or nachos with cheese and basically your staff dumped sliced cheese on the nachos and microwaved them. It was not at all edible. Please use grated cheese and melt it well so that it doesn't taste like chewing gum.

A popular pub celebrating its 8th birthday this month of the year and 22 branches. Serves much better food than usual pubs. Chicken wings are quite tasty and popular besides nachos and burgers. Service is quite slow and music is very loud. Otherwise the place is a 🌟 Fully packed on weekends! As I visited you guys on your birthday, was expecting atleast a free drink or shot as a birthday present :) never mind, keep up the great food n drink experience and expedite the service.

Visited the bar last night but was very disappointed as the music was so loud you could not have a conversation . I recorded the sound level at 85-110 decibels. The food and drink was fine but the very loud music dominated the atmosphere to the point where you had to " shout" to be heard. It was not a concert or anything similar , just a regular night so I do not understand the reasoning behind it.

I've been many times to this place after work for few drinks but last Thursday was the first time to try their burger and it was one of the top burgers i tried in my 10years living in this country. McGettigans is a very happening place on weekends . We visited them late night aroung 1 am on friday and they were full and very lively. Bustling with people dancing and chatting all around . The crowd and music is amazing . The area is huge with inside sitting and outside standing tables. We had couple of beers and onion rings which were delicious. Great place to drink and dance to glory!

Cool place to hangout at Bonnington. The happy hour deals are the best and offer some great prices for beer and wine. Food is also good. We tried the fish and chips. The service could have been better as we had asked for 5 mins to decide on what we want and then nobody came for 15 mins. But for the crowd it had, It was okay i guess. Nice music and fun lively place to be. Definitely going back.

Excellent place to catch up on games and some nice food. Portions are big, i couldnt finish my Pasta!! Servixe is good and staff is friendly of mixed nationalities. A place I would recommend for a pint or two, to wind down after office or any other time. One can also enjoy decent dinner there, though the kitchen closes a bit early and then choice of food comes down to burgers, etc. Overall a nice place to be, been there 5 times during the world cup and ejoyed the experience

I really like this place and I've been a patron for a while now. The crowd is nice and it's a nice chill out place. But of the past few weeks I've encountered a server whom I've never seen smiling not just to me but with other guests as well. Then last night (monday ladies night) was signalling to order a pint of beer but she gave me a wine instead. I told her i ordered beer not wine. Then instead of just replacing it she came back to me and said that it was wine that ive ordered(she assumed because i had a glass of wine previously). Well i was even the one who told her that it was a miscommunication. I was so tempted to call the manager but i didn't want to make a fuss that night.It is just frustrating that service is getting bad to worse in each visit. And i hope they brief staff that if they cannot be genuine, then at least be pleasant. The servers like Allen and some of the guys are nice. Even the bouncers are nice. But that particular lady who served us is just outright rude. I just didnt get her name because she is always far or not facing us and that the restaurant name is in bigger font than that of the server's name. I hope something could be done about this. I am more than happy to give a description of the server, just shoot me a message or something. PS. Please tell your staff that their "smile"is a part of their uniform... since it is a hospitality industry.

Truly cozy atmosphere, this Irish pub had. Outside terrace has a shear kid friendly environment, I actually visited here with my kid but my stay here was very much satisfactory as there was spacious bench and good to enjoy some pints of beer even in the hot and humid weather. Grilled salmon was really tasty.

Did I party in Dubai? Oh yes I did! Guys this is a place you want to go to if you’re looking to drink, dance and have an awesome time. My friend and I walked in here after having a few drinks at the Irish Village and this place was a bomb. It was filled with people. Most of them were drunk but the place we lively. Sports, outdoor bar, indoor bar, dance floor, music, alcohol some amazing crowd, McGettigan’s had it all. The place is open until 03.30 ish in the morning and we even made a new pretty Pakistani friend.

Quite a fast rate of inflation on the burger that used to be 70ish not seeing explanation to 50% increase on menu so gave it a miss at £20 attached menu prices on zomato is not current is 99 now. Is one really worth 4 whopper meals? Better value elsewhere these days. On the upside they have removed their 'mussels' from the menu. Beer ok value in happy hr Guiness and hoegaarden are good value.

Quite a different vibe compared to McGetty's in Singapore. I like this place more than any other McGetty's I've been to, especially their Al Fresco area. Wagyu Beef Chilli Nachos is probably my favourite and will definitely be back to try the other dishes.

We decided to celebrate a birthday here. And amazed with the hospitality of the team to arrange a small petite pastry with name written in chocolate on a plate. Loved the hospitality. The pizza here is mind blowing - huge, Margherita at its best. Chicken wings are worth and huge in taste and quality. Its a sports bar kind of place inside with TV, etc as they even keep match on. Outside is peaceful seating. Inside, you can even move around on the music and dance on your seats. Music gets loud by the evening. Ladies nights are worth trying. Crowd here is very upmarket and mostly people who work in the vicinity. You have a lot of colleagues coming here just for a beer post work. A very belgium kind of place and English crowd. Pricing is something I feel needs improvement and they need to add the area towards the washroom - as the dance room area and close it.

Not a very pleasant experience. We went over a weekend in the evening without reservations so partly our bad too but we were given a very shady table at the corner outside. As it was pretty hot we asked them to turn the fan towards us but they didnt pay heed. The crowd was good, music seemed noisy as the environment was ruining it. We were eggtarians mostly so asked them for very basic customisation as there are nearly nil veg or only egg options. But they couldnt accommodate that either. The staff didnt seem cooperative at all. The food was okay. The champagne we ordered was good as also the beer. If the service would have been better would have definitely rated it for a 4

Has to be one of the most enjoyable brunches I've been to in a really long time. The entire place is filled with happy vibes with every guest having a whale of a time. It was a feast out there and for the price point it was a bargain. Add to that the flowing booze to choose from to wash down the dishes with and you've your ideal Friday. They have a menu with delicious dishes made to order ranging from egg Benedict and burgers to waffles and pancakes. The live counter had succulent beef and pork roasted to perfection. The spread at the buffet counter including the desserts was above average. They have a wide range of hops to choose from along with spirits. I would personally go for the beer as I felt the spirits were pretty diluted and also because nothing goes better with a brunch than a pint of good ol Guinness. This is a must visit if you're into brunches and looking to have a great time. They also have an extended drinks only offer post the brunch if you want to continue the party.

Yaaa a nice joint. But the place seem more a local.den for the regular neighbors who barge in rudely into your tabble. Just because it's theirs favorite and regular place. Forcing you to move out of your own table. Had a very bad experience though...

Went in for a quick dinner, but had trouble finding the pub on the outside. It's not very easily marked. The inside however was nice and cheerful with plenty of tv screens to follow some sports and have the food. Food was of good quality and arrived fairly soon after the order. Would definitely recommend on the weekend for a merry atmosphere

I was recently invited to review their friday brunch.As expected it was fully packed.It was very vibrant and cheerful with live music.Staff were very friendly and helpful.For the brunch they have a salad bar with soup and breads,seafood spread and a descent spread of sides,few main courses,a table for roasted chicken,meat and pork.Their salad and dessert spread is quite descent.You can also have unlimited beverages along with the brunch.The friday brunch at Mc Gettigans is definitely enjoyable and pocket friendly.They have a great ala carte menu as well.

This is my favourite pub in Dubai and especially the one in JLT. I love the guiness beer here. I have been to the one in WTC and Madinat Jumeirah but the JLT ones ambience and guiness is much much better.

Why go there: To yell and have that freaking beer! Go there on weekends. Good food. Horrible service. Super crowded. Forget about getting a table. Fight for your beer. Yell if you want to have a conversation. Or else, go on a week day, get a decent table, order some nice pub food, enjoy that beer and catch up with friends.

Finally I get to savour a Guineas stout with some Irish pub food and boy was it worth the wait. The beer of course was something that's been on my bucket list for sometime but I was pleasantly surprised with the food. Be it the fish and chips or the beef burger or the spaghetti it was just amazing. For me personally it was the beef burger and the fish and chips which sealed the deal. Cheers,

Probably one of the only places in Dubai we've ever felt discriminated on. If you're Asian don't even consider coming to this racist place. The table right next to us (white people) had 2 waiters come to them every time. While we 1. Had to wait 20-30 mins for a waiter. 2. Were asked to go to the bar to place an order. If I could give 0 stars I would, no place in 2020 for such a place. After all the complaining they gave us a 2 for 1 stub. Which was more insulting than calming really! Pub full of drunk Europeans all over the place with 0 control, vibe was hectic, place was hot and overcrowded, barely any staff and only dedicated to Europeans, rude bouncers.

An authentic IRISH pub experience...the beers are fresh and a large variety of draught is available for beer lovers , from their pub grub tried their Fish and chips , bangers and mash .live music are just great here ...this place is always got an energy and the aura that once you are back home..you are still wondering what a simply fantastic time one had with great food ,service and Drinks..
