Went in for unbearable abdominal pain. Did blood work, no answer. Did ct scan and still no answer. They used a cop out answer saying my intestine was inflamed. When that was just scaring from intestine removal when I was 9 months old. Spent 3-4 hours in the ER and the bill was $4500. I will not be going to the ER again. I would be fine with it if I had an answer but I don’t and now I am $4500 short. Reminder to all to deny services, they will take advantage of you in your weakened state.

I went there with a dislocated shoulder that we (friends and I) barely popped back into place right. I was trying to address my concerns but the staff told me I'd be okay and if I could do some things that I'd be okay. I didn't feel that was the right thing to do and now my shoulder still hurts and pops even more, I can't even pet my cat without my arm popping out. Thanks Lakeland, also there's many tales of a lot of people almost dying here due to not caring, not paying attention or reading special notes about patients. Last time I was here I had some blood vessels blow up because they kept missing the veins. This hospital is just here to rack up your hospital bill and collect money. This place really makes me want to move to another country because if this is healthcare, I'd rather not even go. But what choices do we have... Lakeland bought everyone up.

Quick to get seen, but quite the wait thereafter even though there were hardly any other patients waiting. Spent a good three and a half hours there. Friendly staff, though they could also have been more comprehensive in seeking to find out what was wrong in my estimation. Update: Turns out one of the CT scans they did was botched as they waited too long after the oral contrast to get around to doing it. Still billed us of course, and made no mention of it till our referral specialist pointed out it wasn't helpful at all.

Went in to the ER with dizziness, nausea, tingling, numbness, and no insurance. I was seen quickly, everyone was super nice and straight forward. Tests took a while but I'd rather them be thorough. They were really good at listening to me and also voiced their own concerns. I had a multitude of doctors and nurses come check on me and they all had different insights that I appreciated. My visit was enjoyable and comfortable. They gave me tips on how I could work out insurance and forward the bill to them. Truly not a lot to complain about, was fantastic care.

Do NOT go here even for a paper cut! please got to reputable Chicago hospital. The ER wanted to do a lumbar puncture on our teen one due to low grade fever which is risky procedure and then found out the internist doing her rounds actually called me saying she overruled the resident doctor on procedure - thank god for her as she set down phone and I could actually could hear her arguing with resident doctor to STOP immediately as his fever went down and ordered him to stop. IT was going to happen and zero trust we have in this hospital. our teen went to behav health the next day and by law they are supposed to listen to us and take important background and now they tell us to stop communicating with them as they are afraid of our complaints to compliance, senators, congress reps and governor! They do not respect the family with dignity and have violated many of the the Michigan Mental Health State Laws with our loved one. We have asked for our loved one to be transferred to Chicago psych ward with amazing reputation and have it all set up and this is done all the time in mental health hospital industry and they do NOT RESPOND to our professional and polite emails, phone calls. The lost our loved one and the only way we found out he escaped is the Sheriff of county called me as he was found thanks to sheriff more then 7 hours later but he could have been injured or killed under their care. No advocate that is neutral to make sure his rights are not being violated. Due to fact he is over 18 we are in nightmare as they told us they will not tell our loving family what day or time when he is discharged and social worker told me that if he doesn't give a name that the hospital sends to them to a shelter!! Our loving family are being treated like criminals when they are the ones violating our loved ones rights and we are following up with lawyers and regulatory commisions in the state and governor of Michigan. I'm trying to save another family from going through nightmare of non compassionate experience we are going through. DO NOT GO HERE!! please help us!

i would like to thank the ENTIRE staff here once again. i just ca'nt find the word's to show my appreaction.its not enough saying thank you for what they do. Dr.Rosbach,Dr. Bosis,Dr. snipes, Dr aroura,Dr dish,and many more that i cant recall there names at the moment. the entire nursing staff,there assistance,house keeping,transpot people,the food staff and all of there help. it would be hard to think about my illness and stay without all of these great people that has dedicated there life's to taking care of complete stanges like me. i just cant thank this entire team for not only fixxing me but for taking such good care of me treating me like family. it's rare to find such dedicated people any where in word these day's. i just dont know how they do it.12 hour shift's on your feet the entire time. there lunches or breaks are moved around many times & sometimes they dont even get because there patients and there care come before anything else.i am truely humbled and thank full to be where i am

I was actually surprised to see my loved one being acknowledged and treated like they were an important patient in need of professional medical assistance. Hopefully with the hospital's expansion there will be hire for fresh ,energetic, optimistic medical professionals to actually care to do something with the potential patients instead of misdiagnosis and the lacking of professionalism. Still waiting to see.....
