Shuckers

With 4 of us dining we had quite a lot of food come to the table. With that being said, it was all wonderful especially the deep fried scallops. They were perfection on a plate. Order an extra serving of the jerk shrimp appetizer because once you taste them one order is not enough. The scampi pizza was amazing also. Along with the fried corn. The servers were courteous and very attentive. To be extremely busy refills came quickly as did each of the dishes we ordered. We will definitely be returning and recommending them to everyone we know

When they are on, they are great. They aren’t always on. The oysters are probably the best in the state. Some of the wait staff is awesome. Some haven’t a clue. If you are chill and don’t mind to request specifics like very hot etc this place is a diamond in the rough but I wouldn’t do a special, high stakes dinner here.

I have been to Shucker's several times and not been disappointed; but I was recently there and had their Neptune platter. This meal was not worth $32.95....seriously. The fish was tasteless, there was supposed to be oysters in the non-seasoned breading--the oysters could not have been any bigger than a dime, maybe a nickel, but I never tasted an oyster; the calamari was also in same breading, no taste. The scallops were nice size, but the Cajun seasoning that requested was not flavored nothing but pure salt. Not my day for a good meal. I will go back and stay with the regular burger or sandwich menu. Let's face it, if your going to pay that much money for seafood, eat it at Hilton Head, Oak Island, or Myrtle Beach.

Great food and fantastic wait staff. I had my family with my grandchildren with me. Everything I asked for was taken care if they had it. My 10 month old grandson loved the orange slice that was on my plate. When I asked the waitress if she could get him some more, she brought him a little plate with a few slices. He loved it.
