AMAZING food from an amazing family owned business that makes you feel like you’re one of their own! This is one of my favorite spots in the neighborhood. It’s the perfect atmosphere to catch up with a friend or even just to grab a hot meal to go on the way home. The owner will always make sure it’s the best quality and makes a point of preparing so that the food never sits. And the drink menu is incredible! They keep things current and every drink is as good as the next one, even the ones with a lot of ingredients! Anyone looking for quality food, drinks and service in a great atmosphere (notably safe with the current covid standards, making you even more comfortable) should stop by or even pick up to go. You won’t be disappointed!

All I can say is that if you have not stopped by Mifflin Tavern, you are missing out - the food is unreal, the atmosphere is more than welcoming, and the owners as well as the staff are doing an amazing job, ESPECIALLY DURING A PANDEMIC, to keep everyone safe and happy. They truly care about the customer's dining experience, and every safety precaution they take during this current climate reflects that from the moment you sit down to eat or drink until you walk out the door. A true South Philly staple that's worth more than 5 stars!

This place honestly has the BEST food and drinks in Pennsport, but honestly the owner is horrible. I called a few days in advance to make sure my service dog was allowed, the lady on the phone said yes, as long as I’m outside. That’s strike 1, it is illegal under the ADA act to make a disabled person sit outside, especially in 48 degree weather. Upon arriving we’re seated outside under an OPEN tent next to the fire. The owner comes up to us, tells us we must move to an “open” area which happens to be away from the fire. The owner also asked to see my dogs license. All of this is highly against the laws and I’m severely disappointed, since I called to make sure. Sitting outside is no big deal to me especially because of Covid, but being forced to move after being seated and after confirming via phone is very upsetting. It’s very simple to follow all ADA laws especially if you only have 1 person a month asking for these accommodations. Keep in mind this has NOTHING to do with the food, drinks, or service. Our server actually apologized for his owners reaction towards us. But because of this owner a spot that’s been regular for me will be no more, I’ll go somewhere else that actually accommodated those with disabilities and understand the law. By the way, I know the owner will read this all of your actions towards my party and I are highly illegal, and we are taking the proper steps to make sure this doesn’t occur to anyone else!
