Lovely place. The deputy manager and server were really polite and happy to help. Food was very nice. All in all, a great family pub that we all enjoyed. We will certainly be coming back

Excellent, helpful, friendly staff. The food was good, with enough choice for most. The Xmas/Halloween decoration I'm sure will be effective when it's finished.

Pleasant staff. Not busy so chose our own table. Food good quality. Starter was smaller than expected but mains was a good portion. Hunters chicken for me steak for hubby. Paid £2 to park for 2 hours but was deducted from bill. No complaints.

Nice friendly welcome on arrival shown to our table staff were friendly and attentive food was excellent with plenty of options on the menu also separate children's menu thank you we will be returning

We come here as a family quite regularly. Never had any issues, staff always friendly and helpful, food has been perfect every time we have visited.

The food was spot on - only had a jacket potato and side salad but it was brill quality. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful - paying attention to my gluten and lactose intolerance. Pam served us at the bar and brought us our food - she was fab!

Great pub to stop off at before catching the train home. It's spacious with nice views out on the canal. Sadly it was raining when I visited!
The food menu is standard pub fare. I had fish and chips which was decent. I also had a dessert of chocolate fudge cake, because why not? I was full and content after a good day. I'd say this pub is great for a drink or food, rather than a session pub.

Pam and Maddison was great hosts, took my allergies in to consideration and went above and beyond to make sure I felt at ease. Really nice staff, thankyou the chefs (Adam and Aaron for preparing my meal and the food was lovely. Thankyou so much

Just popped in for a snack and drink but ended up with 2 small meals from the lunchtime menu. We really enjoyed. We had gammon egg and chips with garden peas. All cooked well. Stall helpful and friendly. Place very clean .

Very friendly staff on arrival and was shown to our pre booked table, service was great and the food was fresh, hot and tasty. Excellent service all round and will be visiting again soon. Keep up the good work team kingfisher 👌🏻
