Super authentic Indian restaurant. Excellent food. The staff were even kind enough to cook us some favourite dishes not on the menu, and they were perfect. Nice to sit outside on a warm evening.

Popped in for a quick dinner. Was very quiet but it meant very grateful and attentive service. Food was decent especially the paneer for the location and price, would visit again and support the local Indian curry house!

The food is absolutely wonderful, waiters are lovely and fast- white tablecloth service! Extremely clean, and very reasonable prices. They should be packed at all hours but somehow you can always get a table.

This place has the BEST Indian food I’ve ever had. I flew into London, and before eating here, I wasn’t impressed with the food. I was so happy when my aunt and I decided to eat here. I initially ordered the butter chicken, but sent it back because it came sweet. The staff was super kind about it, and allowed me to exchange it for the Chicken Rezala. The Rezala was perfect, and the flavor was out of this world. The ambiance feels upscale, but it’s super relaxed at the same time. Did I mention, the food was inexpensive? The waitstaff even boxed my leftover’s for me! If I ever travel back to London, this will be a certain go to!

Nice place, delisious food and big portions, friendly and helpful personal staff, they cooked for us non-spicy bariani with shrimps, even if it was not on the menu) I really appreciate it.

Superb food, superb service and superb tastes. Staying close to Kings Cross, this is a fantastic place to come for an intimate and flavourful Indian meal. £20-30 pp and fantastic quality food. Recommend highly

Dermot insisted we come back to this place, and I'm glad we did. The Cinnamon Tree is on the Western edge of the popular, trendy Exmouth Market strip, so is easy to overlook. I am squeamish about hot curries ( I am a wimp) but was perfectly happy here. There is a cool, formal feel inside, lots of blue, and the older waiters are polite and professional. They took notice of our wish for barely spiced dishes, and we loved our fish and chicken choices. And a flavoursome brinjal bhaji on the side. I've never been served a disappointing dish here. Desserts are a bit thin on the ground though.. Recommended for a quiet, civilised and tasty evening.

Cinnamon Tree is a great restaurant - the food is amazing. I recommend their garlic naan and muttar paneer. The staff are also very friendly and the outside seeding is really good in the summer. The only think I would recommend is for them to get more Indian desserts on the menu as they only have ice cream at the moment - would have loved to see some ras malai or laddus as well. I would definitely come here again!

Great service, very friendly waiters. The food was lovely although quite spicy! I had the butter chicken and said that I can’t handle spice, for me it was still spicy but maybe I’m just a wimp. The portions were of a large size and I couldn’t finish all of mine. It was really delicious though (I wouldn’t have eaten it given how spicy it was if it wasn’t good!) too full for desserts but they did look delicious...it would be nice if they offered a student discount but otherwise it’s reasonably priced for the area.

I've been here a couple of times now with work and it really is decent. Throw in a taste card and you're laughing. Pleasant surrounds and service and a good range of meat and vegetable curry served in good size portions and quality. Perfect!

At one end of 'trendy' exmouth market, Cinnamon Tree is a perfectly reasonable Indian restaurant serving the typical range of indian dishes with a few more unique options.

I always come here as it accept the Taste Card for a big group of people and I have never been disappointed with the food. The standard curries are nothing particularly special but this is definitely not a cheap/low quality indian restaurant - the sauces are not over-oily, the meat is well cooked and the presentation is excellent.

The only negatives I have found is that we are often sat at the front of the restaurant and the tables there are a bit of a squeeze for 4 people. Also, I have found the service to be a bit slow on occasion - however this may be because of a large group there at the time.

On the whole, this is a very decent option for anyone looking for an Indian meal in this area, but probably not worth travelling too far though. However, I hear they have outdoor seating in summer so that might be nice on the market!
