Return visit after a couple of years. Warm and comfortable seating, nice atmosphere, friendly staff, lovely food. We had a BLT on white sliced bread with crisps and side salad (£7). Fresh ingredients and perfect bacon, one of the nicest I've ever had. Nice cup of tea to go with it.

You have a lovely view of Steep Hill and a viewpoint over Lincoln if you sit outside. I had a loaded bagel with good quality ingredients and a nice combination of flavours. I would only say the portion sizes could be a little bigger for the price. Looked like a good cake selection too, though I didn't try that.

Unfriendly staff and sub-par food. The vegan sausage roll was fine, but the ones from Greggs are nicer for about 1/4 the price; everything else - the week-old scone included - was very poor.
