2pm on a Saturday, it was freezing, we didn't take our coats off. I like the Embers Inn menu because I'm not a fan of pretentious, vertically-stacked food, and there's plenty of choice at fair prices. I had Hunters Chicken, which was cremated on the bottom but more or less edible otherwise. The tomato was almost perfectly taste-free, but it's November, so... I have eaten here a couple of times before though, and the sausages were delish, as was the carbonara. Think Harvester in a pub. Plenty of parking.

Excellent service and food with a relaxed atmosphere. All facilities were clean. Sky News was on mute with subtitles. Highly recommended for a family occasion.

This is such a lovely pub! The food was absolutely delicious, the service was quick and super lovely, and it’s dog friendly in the bar area which is always a plus for me! Super lovely atmosphere, would definitely recommend!

I cannot express enough how fantastic both the service and the food was at this place. We ran a bit late for our booking but that was no problem, and they took my egg allergy very seriously to the point where once the food arrived they reassured me that the utensils, plates and other equipment was thoroughly cleaned to prevent cross contamination. On top of this the food was lovely and well worth the money 😁

Very lovely pub. Food is always very good and service is always with a smile. We frequently eat at this pub and we've never been let down.

The ribs were nice but a bit dry the chicken thighs were delicious. The chicken burger was really really good. The gammon was also really great. The two ice cream sundaes were lovely. The staff were pleasant and polite.

The staff are all so friendly and seem pleased to be working there. On arrival we went to the bar and asked where our reserved table was. We ordered our drinks there and the staff member said sit at your table and I will bring your drinks to the table. We ordered further drinks at the table as our desserts arrived.
Food was good and quiz was fun - shall certainly return again.

Had a light lunch and the service was excellent. We were served by a lovely man, didn't get his name, but he was extremely attentive and fantastic at his job. Food was great and everything was perfect. Great value too
