Bonefish Grill

Bonefish grill is the place to go for fresh seafood. My favorite is the tuna poke bowl, with fresh tuna on top of rice, onions, cucumbers, lettuce, peppers and a spicy poke sauce. My companion got grilled salmon topped with crab. The meal includes a crusty loaf of bread with olive oil and pesto for dipping. Delicious! I highly recommend it.

For the amount of money paid, the service and attention to detail should have been better. First off, when I arrived for my togo order, no one was at the door. I stood there for at least 5 minutes before I was greeted. When I received my order, I didn't get the bread for my appetizer. I also ordered a martini for 2 but it only filled one glass. The food tasted great but the value for the portion wasn't worth it.

We have heard so many reviews about this place from friends who had visited earlier. So we decided to give it a go on my birthday. And needless to say, we weren’t disappointed. The staff were nice and polite, greeted us with a big smile. We ordered the bang bang shrimp as the appetizer which of course is a big hit here. For entrees, we ordered the Chilean sea bass with mango salsa and Soy glazed butterfish with creamy spinach and rice. Both dishes were exquisite. And so was the ambience of the restaurant. Will definitely go back.

I hate to do this because I am a big fan of Bonefish but it's really the only recourse I have for bad customer service. A few weeks back I had surgery and a friend sent us dinner through doordash that night. When it arrived all of the chicken was very undercooked. I immediately contacted the restaurant and they said I would get a call back in 30 minutes from the manager. 90 minutes later I called back and she told me "I was going to call you back but have a full dining room." I was disappointed with this response as I was also a customer with an issue that needed resolving. Long story short, because it was ordered through a 3rd party (doordash) my only recourse for food that night was to pick it up which was not possible being post op. The manager agreed to send gift cards to offset the cost of the meal we had to throw out. No gift cards were ever received. I understand that restaurants are struggling with staffing right now and get overwhelmed at times but this was handled poorly.
