Nice pub staff friendly very good food good atmosphere

Our local pub. Ate and drank there many times over the years. Most resent visit was to celebrate our wedding anniversary with a meal and drink.

What a great place we went here for a belated birthday meal with my son and had a lovely meal which was hot and tasty and as there was 10 of us and it all got to us at the same time was great. The staff were lovely, polite and very efficient.

This is definetely my favorite pub so far! Good food, good prices, family and animal friendly and humans are tolerated :) Cannot ask for more.

A rare sunny lunchtime caught them by surprise, so the pub was busy and they were struggling to provide a full menu. However, the staff and manager were super friendly and went out of their way to overcome their difficulties. Standard chain pub food (when available) but great service. Great outdoor seating in the sunshine.

We camped at the rugby club came down to get some food during the day service was good staff were friendly, really enjoyed the food just a shame we didn't get to have a game of Aunt Sally .

Had Sunday lunch here a couple of weeks ago, the food was delicious and the staff were helpful and friendly, the landlord John made us feel very welcome, will definitely visit again 😊

Went for the oddballs rally at the weekend. Good food, good beer, great atmosphere and the manager (John) even put the Celtic game on when we asked. Very accommodating.

Absolutely lovely pub, I return whenever I’m in Abingdon. Great food, staff are always so welcoming & friendly, especially John the landlord. Great dog friendly pub too & welcoming to families.
