Went to an event where BBQ delight had set up their street food table and everything was made and served fresh. Not only the taste was amazing, but i was also impressed by their service and the fact that they used eco friendly cutlery. Was excited to try Pakistani food, restaurant is in a good location, service here was friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere is intimate with a real feel of the sub-continent. However the food is distinctly average, the curry was pretty average and bland to be honest, the kebabs are good, naan was fine. It was pleasant enough overall but not sure if I would recommend or return.

Puri was not really fresh, just so so. Peshawari karhai was okay with too much tomato in it. We were expecting it too be different from traditional karhai but there was nothing special. The box for all three things we ordered (chicken Biryani, chicken Malai and beef Behari) was open, more than half the Biryani was at the bottom of the bag.<br/>Food bag was left at the front door without any notice. You made me speechless. We ordered chicken behari kebab (so tender and tasty!), beef seekh kebab (so juicy and delicious), shami kebab (literally melt in your mouth) and mutton keema tawa which for me has the perfect balance of spices! For the lemonade, they added black salt which has a kind of sulphurous taste. We loved the lassi and the orange juice; did not like the lemonade.<br/><br/>The staff and ambiance are very good. There is enough parking also for the visitors to that building.<br/><br/>This place is quite economical and good.

We are not familiar with this cuisine but were pleasantly surprised. It is not what we would call the traditional sit down and eat place but more of an express eatery, but don’t let that fool you. The staff are friendly and attentive.<br/>There are some definite call outs: Malai Tikka and Afghani Tikka melted in your mouth. The Hommos was really delicious. The meal wouldn’t have been complete without Kheer for dessert, which is a must have.<br/>Will definitely go there again.

I came here not realising it was an “Express” outlet and had expected the renowned buffet experience, but that was my mistake. This is a small cafe-style eatery with good service and a decent a la carte offering. Their fried hammour fillets in a spiced coating was light and delicious. Their prawns in a spicy masala was over grilled but tasty. The lamb chops were more like mutton chops, very tough and gamey - not to my taste. Overall, I had a good time and the food is okay. If I were in the area again, I would probably take a gamble and try somewhere else to eat, but I wouldn’t avoid this Express outlet specifically. It’s just okay.

Service was friendly, yet a little slow at times.<br/>We started with Mint lemonade which was perfectly sweetened, and my husband tried sweet Lassi for the first time and really enjoyed it.<br/>Appetizer was fried fish which came with a mound of fries on top. This was surprising, as the photo on the menu did not show this, nor did the menu description mention fries. The fish was a little greasy for our taste.<br/>Portions of food were large and served hot. Prawn Masala was nicely spiced and tasty. Both plain and whole wheat naan were good.<br/>There were only 2 dessert options on the menu, Kheer and Galab Jamun. We shared Kheer, which was delicious.

Had a great meal last night at Barbecue Delights Motor City. The staff were attentive and the restaurant is spacious, modern and bright, and pays homage to the origins of the cuisine. <br/>We had the Lahore Fish and Chaana Chaat for starters. The fish was melt in the mouth quality covered in a slightly spicy fried coating, served with chips which weren’t really needed and made this more of a main sized meal rather than a starter. The Chaana Chaat was refreshing light and very tasty with beautiful presentation. <br/>For main we had the House Dahl which was full of flavour but not spicy which was a great complement to the Vegetable Biryani. This was the best Vegetable Biryani we have had in Dubai. Bright and colourful, full of vegetables and spices and it tasted as good as it looked. It’s one for lovers of hot food as it has plenty of chilli in it, or just dull the spice down with the delicious Riata and eat with fresh Naan.<br/>For anyone with a sweet tooth, make sure you leave room for Ghulab Jamun for desert. <br/>The serving sizes are large and the menu well priced for the quality of the food. Parking is available adjacent to the restaurant.

This was my first time trying out Pakistani, Indian kitchen and I loved it. Staff was helpful with explaining menu and suggesting dishes to try. Will defiantly come back to try more of their food.

The interiors is designed keeping in mind the trucks and dhabas back in India and Pakistan. The usual quirky one liners written on the trucks are framed in all corners of the restaurant. The decor is a mix of industrial design There is spacious seating indoors and outdoors. With the weather becoming better, its the perfect place to enjoy grills.

This place has one of the best platters! Visited with a friend in the evening. Great service and staff, but lacks the crowd it deserves. If you love Desi food, be it Indian or Pakistani, you've got to be here.<br/><br/>We started off with Hot & Sour Soup. I did not find it very appetizing but decent enough. I found it sweet than hot.<br/><br/>Then had Chicken Karahi, BD's Platter, and Naan alongside. One of the best platters ever! So huge, very economical, and delicious! The Karahi was delicious!<br/><br/>Ended the meal with Gulab Jamun and Kheer.<br/><br/>Overall, a great meal!

We found the Pakistani and Afghani food on their menu to be very authentic, tantalizing and sticks to their culinary traditions. The interiors and exterior ideas are inspired from Dhabas & truck culture. One would notice the quirky lines inscribed on the walls which represent laid back phrases usually written behind trucks and lorries. The staff was very friendly and always had a smile on their face! <br/><br/>We started off with refreshing mint lemonade and fresh orange juice. Both were good and natural tasting. <br/><br/>For starters, we ordered the Malai Tikka & Lahori Fish. Tasty by every bite, the chicken pieces were really soft and tender. We insist you give this a try without any doubt.<br/><br/>The Lahori fish was basically fried Hamour fish with the coating of a mildly spicy blend of flavours.<br/><br/>For the main course, we ordered the chicken biryani & chicken kadhai. <br/>The chicken kadhai had a tantalizing taste and it was really outstanding. This is a MUST MUST try. It was served in the same Kadhai (cooking pot) it was cooked in. The chicken pieces were plenty but the only downside was that the gravy was a little less. We tried this with Roghani naan bread. Need to admit that we took each bite with great fervour and enthusiasm. <br/><br/>The choices for dessert here are very limited. We ordered the Kheer and Gulab Jamun! The Kheer was really delicious and was made with rice. Gulab Jamun was also good and wasn’t overly sweet like it’s served in other places.

We have been to barbecue delight a couple of times before and we simply love the food here. Being Pakistanis it feels amazing to see a restaurant so cool where you get top notch food for a reasonable price. We visited the motor City branch for a review and as usual were blown away by the food. The motor City branch is fairly new and has an amazing ambience reflecting the truck art culture of Pakistan with quirky phrases on the wall which will surely leave you nostalgic. Anyhow we tried the reshami kebab, Afghani boti, chicken biryani, Raj kachori, chicken karhai and plain and garlic naan. Every single thing was tasty but I'd say the winner amongst all the food had to be the Afghani boti and chicken karhai and we would highly recommend you all to try these items on their menu.<br/>For dessert we tried everyone's favourite gulab jaman soft warm balls dipped in the sheera is all one can ask for after a wonderful meal. Keep up the good work barbeque delight and of course we will surely visit you again and again to satisfy our cravings for good Desi food.

I ordered tikka today and somehow it’s not the same. Previously I have ordered many times and quality of tikka has always been good but today the quality is bad. I am sorry but I suggest them to keep the standard uniform as bar b q items require constant quality and spice levels and taste.

First time trying Pakistani cuisine? Then BBQ Delight is definitely the place for you! We usually like asking for recommendations when trying out new places, and this meant we got to try out lots of amazing food we probably wouldn’t have chosen for ourselves. Masala fries to start were great and the portion was huge. Our favourites were the Chicken Handi and Malai Tikka, both tasting amazing with just the right amount of spice! The restaurant itself is so cool with a quirky layout and central location in motorcity. While the food was amazing, the best part of our meal was the service - true hospitality, we’ll 100% be back!

Myself and my husband visited the motor city branch last week - we loved it!!! It was our first time to try Pakistani food and it certainly won’t be our last! We were concerned the food might be too spicy for us and mentioned to our server that we prefer less spicy food. He made recommendations and everything we ordered turned out amazing. Thoroughly recommend the Chicken Handi and of course the Biryani is to die for! The Malai Tikka was so succulent and melted in our mouths! The garlic naan was incredible and if we weren’t so full would have eaten every last bite! The desserts were beautifully presented but not really to our taste - nice but very sweet which I think is common for desserts of that particular region. We had the gulab jaman and the qheer - probably wouldn’t order them again but we were so full at that point anyway! Overall, a must try - we’re so lucky they also do home delivery to our area!

We had a really tasty and authentic meal here last night. As soon as we walked in, the manager greeted us warmly and talked us through the menu. He recommended a few must try items and offered advice on things we hadn’t heard of before. As soon as we walked in we saw the ‘Chaat Corner’ so started with Dahi Puri which was one of the highlights of the meal, it was so tasty, tangy, sweet and crunchy all in one mouthful! We also had fried prawns with fries, which even though very pleasant, seemed out of place in the starters section. <br/>The mains were very enjoyable and were large portions. A particular favourite of mine was the Chicken Biryani and the Chicken Handi. My husband loved the Afghani Tilkka. <br/>Desserts were a little hit and miss. The Gulab Jamun were sweet and soft, the Kheer was spiced nicely but was a little bland.<br/>Overall a lovely meal, great service and perfect for a weeknight visit.<br/>They do delivery and have other branches in Dubai also. <br/>(No toilets in the restaurant and the ones near by had no paper and weren’t pleasant).

The Indian and Pakistani food are so similar yet so different in so many ways.<br/>Recently i visited the barbeque delight express outlet in Motor City to try out their delicacies.<br/>The entrance is hard to miss with intricate truck art work. The inside is not as quirky and colorful as their ibn battuta branch. <br/>.<br/>We started off with the starters :<br/>Prawn fries : The crispy fried prawns were delicious (according to Mr.M , I dont eat prawns).<br/>Lahori Fish fries : One word - yumm ! I liked the fish fries. The fries that were served were good, but the quantity of fries were more. <br/><br/>Chicken Malai Tikka : The chicken was juicy and succulent and tasted great.<br/><br/>The dips served were very watery and tasted bland.<br/><br/>Drinks : <br/>lemon soda and mint lemonade : Refreshing drinks, liked the sweet salt lemon soda. <br/><br/>Main course : <br/>Ginger Chicken and Garlic Naan<br/>The garlic naan was warm and soft and tasty . If you are a fan of Authentic Pakisthani food, this is a place you must try !! We went for the Menu Tasting here last weekend and I was glad I tried this place, was my first time at Barbecue delights. I have always loved Bbq and this just got added to my fav places for barbecue in Dubai. We also tried Raj kachori, it was awesome. They have a variety of chaat options. Will be coming back soon to try more of the chaat. Some more of my favorites were Lamb chops and Palak paneer. Do try them and let me know if you love it .

Visited this place with my wife and was happy with the friendly service. We got our food and drinks on time and were constantly being checked upon. I recommend their dahi puri and rashmi kabab which we are with garlic naan. We might go for their buffet on the other branches next time!

Visited this bbq joint in motor city last week. The interiors are amazing specially the main board outside is colorful, intricate and huge. The restaurant is spacious and service is perfect. <br/><br/>Our highlights on the table was the bihari kebabs, afghani kebabs and chicken keema naan. <br/><br/>The bihari kebabs were very soft and literally melts in your mouth. The afghani kebabs are delicious too, comes with small pieces of fat balls. The chicken keema stuffed naan was tasty and is filling on its own. We tried the lahori fish which was good too. The lamb chops were average, ive tasted better. The soup can be improved as well. <br/><br/>Neverthless we enjoyed the kebabs.

هندي على بامستاني وافغاني. اذا سالتهم انتم مطعم هندي يقولك طبعا احنا نطعم هندي. تجي مره ثانيه احسكم مطعم باكستاني مضبوط؟ بالتأكيد نحن افضل مطعم باكستاني عريق. وتقوله لا مبين افغاني؟ كمان يكد مليون في الميه انه افغاني واهم مطعم في دبي!
في النهاية وحده شرحت لي انه مو قصدهم يكذبوا او يتلاعبوا بالناس لان المطبخ الجنوب اسيوي مقارب لبعض وانه فيه اختلافات ما تبين لغير مواطني تلك الذول، فاقتنعت ومشيت.

My wife and I had a very enjoyable dinner here last night. The atmosphere was calm and quiet and the service attentive but not pushy.
We enjoyed a plate of chaat and friend prawns to start with, both very tasty and fresh.
The mains were Chicken Biryani, Chicken Handi, Afghani Tikka, Reshmi Kabab and Qeema Naan. Everything was cooked perfectly and the flavours were authentic and spiced well. My particular favourite was the Afghani Tikka, which had such a great texture and taste.
Dessert was ok but nothing special, I was so full it didn’t matter!
Thanks for having us and we hope to visit again soon.

Went for dinner a couple of weeks ago and we loved it!
It did not look much from the outside but the food was delicious, big portions and well priced. The staff was nice and the service was very fast
The highlights of the dinner were the Chicken Behari Kabab, it was an explosion of flavors with a super juicy texture and The Palak paneer was the best I have ever had, I loved the crunchy ginger. I would definitely go back just to have those two again. The Chaana Chat for starters was also super good.
We also had Rashmi Kabab which was so tasty and many other dishes, all of them we enjoyed.
I wished they delivered to my area as would definitely go for the take away option too

The moment we entered this restaurant we were greeted warmly. The staff were very friendly and all the dishes came on time. Although there were a couple of other guests seated, the supervisor still visited every table to make sure things were fine. I recommend the dahi puri as a starter and reshmi kabab for the main course. We didn't get a chance to try their desserts, so we will be back for sure!

Kandhari roti can be the right choice in bread, ENTERTAINER is not warmly welcome there, so I will not recommended to use entertainer at this place. Because they treat different.

Worst food first time when i have ordered really the biryani was so delicious but second and third time today very bad taste of food. I am not going to recommend there biryani to any one. Very disappointed. Second time this happens with me.
