Main Street Pizza & Pasta

Great little place in the middle of San Antonio! SO and I were looking for some pre-marathon food but did not want to go to one of those $$$$ overrated places so after doing our usual Google search found this spot. It was perfect! Food was delicious (spaghetti marinara with shrimp, salad, garlic bread, and a drink), the ambiance was cozy and relaxed, and prices were perfect. Will definitely add it to our faves list. Thank you!!

This was my first visit here, yesterday (Nov. 15, 2023). It is a quaint looking atmosphere with a good amount of room to seat and enjoy your meal. I ordered the special of that day; which was the Stromboli and side salad. My husband ordered the chicken fettuccine alfredo as well as an appetizer of garlic bread. The gentleman that took our order was warm hearted and very friendly. The small salad had crisp fresh greens, thin peeled lettuce, and bread cubes. We got ranch sauce and all combined it was delicious and rather filling. The Stromboli had great flavor even without dipping it into the marinara sauce. It was nice and hot where I managed to get a decent cheese pull. The outer crust was the right amount of crunch. The chicken fettuccine alfredo, was rich and delicious. The chicken was tender. The fettuccine sauce tasted perfect. Had a great amount of spices and butter (not too buttery). The garlic bread slices were lightly garlic buttered. The texture of the bread was just right. The only thing that made us feel a tiny bit uncomfortable was the gentleman who cleans the tables. We felt a bit rushed because he came to our table multiple times to see if he could take our plates. Which we understand but just felt weird that he only did that with us. Its okay we had food for later since we decided to just pretend we were done. With that said, we do appreciate his dedication and how well he kept the place tidy and ready for newcomers. We will definitely be back to try out other dishes. Thank you for the great service.

As soon as I walked in last night the ambience was already at a DELIGHT. Everyone smiling, conversing and just down EXTREMELY friendly. I've been here hundreds of times but tonight was at it's AWESOME BEST!!! Incidentally, there was a bright lit beautiful full moon right outside the back door of the establishment. There was an all around good vibe. Tonight, I ordered a regular salad with all the fixin's. That salad was made with LOVE from the kitchen staff. It was a BEAUTIFUL salad and tasty. I felt it in mybody just coursing. Thank you Main Street Pizza & Pasta.

They know what they’re doing. The past could use more flavor but overall not bad. The garlic bread is really thick, almost like a loaf but good taste (could use some cheese though). The pizza was amazing, almost TMNT level. It had a good ratio of everything. Honestly will go back. Service isn’t bad, it isn’t the best but it isn’t bad. Loved the atmosphere, reminded me of the bar in HIMYM.
