Tea Bar Cafe

I ordered a passionfruit green tea with crystal boba. Their crystal boba is basically clear boba which is pretty unique. I tend to switch up my order here because I haven't exactly found my perfect drink from here yet. I have tried the watermelon green tea as well and it's good. My only complaint with that is that the drink separates the juice and the foam so when you get towards the bottom, all you get is watermelon foam. The passionfruit green tea is pretty good, better than a lot of other places. Their food is also very good. The fish cakes and popcorn chicken are very tasty. The fish cakes are kind of like a mochi texture and is topped with a really good seasoning. Tea Bar's popcorn chicken is the best, it's really crispy on the outside and full of flavor on the inside. It's better than any other place where I've tried popcorn chicken. The atmosphere is very alright. Near the cash register, there are a lot of jungle decorations with animals on the wall. However, this theme doesn't carry onto the rest of the sitting area. That area is very plain but I enjoy sitting there. It's good for just hanging out with friends and talking. The restroom is shared with a few other stores in the same area. It requires a key but Tea Bar's got stolen so you have to ask one of the other stores. Overall, I do enjoy coming here and would definitely come back.

This place is just alright. I usually get the Boba Milk Tea because they allow you to use your student ID for a discount. The drinks are pretty pricey, around $5 almost $6 if you get a large size. I know that they use fresh fruit in their drinks if you decide to get anything fruity. They have crystal boba here, they say it's chewier and sweeter but I think it tastes the same as regular boba.

I just recently discovered this place with a friend, and it's been an instant favorite. I'm a huge taro enthusiast, and it's proven to be difficult finding a place that makes their taro drinks just right...and this place definitely has it down. They actually use fresh products to make their drinks, so you dont get the nasty chalky flavor of powder or overpowering syrups. It's quite refreshing and average priced for gourmet tea drinks. Love it!

We come here any chance we have because they are the only ones that sell real orange green tea, not from orange syrup but from the orange that grows on trees. They also don't give u less tea because u order without ice (can't drink cold beverages sometimes, girls know what I mean). U can also adjust sweetness. Cash only!

This place is tucked away in a little corner. It's just a little shop right next to Honey Mee. The only bad thing about this place is that it is cash only. Make sure you have your student ID if you want their boba milk tea! you'll get a discount! I come here often with my friends to get boba. The service is usually really quick and the quality is consistent.

Tea Bar Jungle is located in a corner of the YES plaza with Banana Bay and Tastea. If you re thinking about trying this place, think again. There are SO many other spots in that DB/Rowland area that offer the same menu, but with a cleaner environment and friendlier service. The ONLY reason I even came here in the first place was to use a livingsocial deal. I already knew my deal expired, but I only came to redeem the face value of my voucher, which i had made clear to the worker. As I was ordering, our eyes both followed a bug that ran across the counter. She tried to brush it off as it was nothing and continued to take my order. She began to argue with me about using my voucher even though we already agreed that I only wanted to use the face value. After she took my order, we went to look for a table, which was difficult.. NOT because it was packed, but because all the tables were dirty. My friend and I just ordered a brick toast each and when they brought it out, hers was packed up to go and mine came out on a plate. Uhhh, weird. Did they not think we were going to eat together and i just wanted her to watch me eat mine...? Long story short, this place was a waste of time and a hazard to my health. Way too many turnoffs in the span of 20 mins to redeem a measly $7 voucher. Other side notes: -Cash only -BOGO drink with a check in on FB -Really random promotions like 20% your order if its the month of your zodiac...? Lol Oh, but only one promo at a time. i hate this place.
