Oh Deer

Came here for the famous cheese ribs and test tube cocktails. Also, this place only accepts cash 💵💵 Cheese ribs 🧀🍖 : Tasted okay. In my opinion the selling point of this dish is the experience and is considered a picture-worthy dish. Strawberry fried chicken 🍓🍗: Disappointing. Have no idea why it's called strawberry fried chicken when I can't even tatse strawberry. Test tube cocktails 🍸: Fun to play with but will only order once. haha. 😜😜 Service was impeccable and friendly. Overall not a bad place to try out since the experience given is different from other korean places I've been to.

I went to the shop to celebrate my friend's birthday and I am amazed by both the atmosphere and the food of this newly opened Korean shop. I tried five dishes and I think three of them are very nice. The first one is the strawberry chilli fried chicken. This fried chicken is very interesting. It redefined my concept of Korean fried chicken with the strawberry sauce, creating an unforgettable mixture of sweet and spicy taste. The second one is the sashimi pizza. It is actually Korean pancakes placed in a way as such it looks like a pizza. I love this idea and my girlfriend thinks that it looks really well and she would love it no matter how it taste. Yet, the taste of this pizza definitely haven't disappointed us. Last but not the least is the Kimchi Buta Soup. I just could not describe how amazing this dish was. The waiters said this soup has been cooked for hours and thus, the taste from the pork bone was deeply penetrated into the soup. Together with the spicy and sour taste from the kimchi, the soup was simply a Devine piece of work. I just love this shop and I definitely would ask my friends to come for another gathering next time.

My friend and I went for dinner last night, there is only 3 staff on floor. We waited for 15 minutes for dish to present on table. We ask for water for at least 3 times, one staff always saying "wait for a second" Apart from that, we request add some soup to our pot and waiting for 15mins more, another staff was trying to take our dish while we are still eating. Overall, pretty rude to the customer, never come back anymore. I have been in this industry for 5 years, this is the most horrible and ridiculous restaurant I have ever seen.

I would give 3 star for food, 1 star to service. Korean is my favourite cuisine, and we are always keen to try out new Korean restaurants around Melb. The food: We had the pork bone kimchi soup, was not bad however this is the first Korean restaurant that serve this soup with no rice. My boyfriend ordered beef stone pot rice, generous portion. The service: We bought groupon lunch for 2, booking only allowed 12.30 or 2.30pm, fair enough they want groupon users to avoid their peak hour. However, when we ordered our mains at 12.30 we were told kitchen open at 12.30 therefore all rice dishes won't be served until 1.15pm. THEN WHY allow US to BOOK AT 12.30? We were amongst the earliest customers, after we ordered a few more tables got occupied and when I looked crossed the restaurant every table were served water, of course EXCEPT US. Waitresses were attentive to full price paying customers, other than ordering and serving our food, we did not get any attention. In conclusion, although the food is ok, I won't return due to their service, there are way better options within few blocks of this place. After all, Groupon is a marketing tool to bring new customers in to try your food, if you are not happy doing it and treat them differently, why bother wasting effort.
