Searcys At The Hac

A wonderful restricted access oasis in the City of London just south of Old Street tube Station. Home to The Honorable Artillery Company, a venerated Reserve Force unit, Armoury House and its grounds are the envy of every Military organisation and social club in London. It's facilities and green field are historic and well maintained. For those lucky people who use it socially the super public rooms house a great bar and wonderful dining rooms. The food is excellent too.

Great experience as ever. Beautiful historic building in a prime location - quiet oasis of calm. First class restaurant - great staff. Downside is that you have to be a member or else with a member! Bedrooms available at excellent rates. Very busy bar area. Museum on site. Highly recommended if you have the means of access.

I have hosted my company's summer party here and I was truly impressed with the level of service, the quality of the food, the décor of the whole place, and the attention to detail that everyone working there paid. We had the best possible summer package one could wish for and all of my guests were very happy with this event. I would totally recommend this venue for your events. They have indoor/outdoor space, so no need to worry about the weather either. Stunning views across the car park and you might actually get lucky to see a baseball game across the field.

I loved it. What a stunning, historical place, it's just so fantastic to see the living representation of the current incarnation of a long line of personnel and service in British history and so happy that we could support same with our tour and visit. The staff and members of the Club were super friendly and helpful, full of knowledge as they truly represent the organisation and military heritage the HAC represents, the grounds and buildings are fantastic, and the tour of the gear they wear and traditions they follow in the various parades and functions they attend are riveting. Well worth your time, money and effort if you have the opportunity to go on a tour of the HAC. Highly recommended.
