My review isn’t for KFC itself… My review is for one member of staff in particular who has EXCELLENT customer service and is a massive credit to the business. Corinne! She has consistently served me with a smile on her face & she is capable of changing anyones mood with the joy she radiates… Well done KFC for finding her.

Today I order my casually weekly take out! And yea I was craving KFC. I decided to try JustEat delivery platform that I must say is THE BIGGEST LOAD OF RUBBISH I’ve ever used, got shoved about to computers online because they have no contact number that works for an hour because I haven’t received my food!!!! I payed for it... so obviously I’d like the food or a refund.. long story short no luck! No food and out of pocket! so I called the restaurant which was the KFC on old Kent road south Bermondsey to see if they could help. Let’s just say I was remaining patient but I’ve now been waiting hours so although I feel I was polite I was still ranting about JustEat. The manager wasn’t able to help me as the issue was entirely JUSTEAT, but when I re-ordered not only did the lovely man make sure the driver called me when leaving and arriving; but threw in a little extra for me for the the inconvenience! Thank you to the manager (& team) on shift tonight! You sir, are a bloody legend and I hope you win the lottery and can quit working for KFC so you stop getting phone calls from people like me! Hero!

It is good to see places like this open for takeaway during the lockdown. This is only via the drive through, which is even better. Social distancing and so on is maintained by never leaving your car. The server was masked and gloved. Payment is by card, with the machine held out on a long pole. Using contactless payment therefore makes the whole process as contactless as possible. There was a small queue of cars last time I visited, but the overall wait was only a few minutes. From order to departure was super quick. The chicken was if course up to its usual great standard, and bargain buckets live up to their name.
