Thyme & Honey

I went here for a bite to eat and really enjoyed the chicken burger I had. My only criticism is that the menu didn't say what salad was present in the burger when I ordered it so I had to remove some things myself. Prices are cheap for the area and the staff member that served me was very friendly. Id go again!

The shop front has never really looked appealing and the awful minimal patio furniture made it look like a cafe in Clacton. However today we ventured in as really did not have the time or patience to Google a good cafe nearby and choose from a list of 100! First thing first...they have Cobra beer on draught, very good start. Interior is not too bad and lady serving us was very nice and attentive with a great big smile. Naturally the Cobra order was put straight in along with avocado and eggs on sour toast and something new which I had never tried...Shakshuka. It was absolutely amazing! It took a while to arrive but that can be a good thing as it was baked to perfection. So much taste and texture, the eggs were awsome too. You have to try this dish here, it is well worth the visit alone. Only gripe was the tiny piece of flat bread that came with the humous, had to eat the rest of the it with a fork. Could have asked for more bread but if it was the same size as the piece they give then still not much point. Guess im just spoilt with the bread baskets i get in most turkish joints! Will definatley be going here a lot more oh and the cappuccino was great too so I just been told!
