My husband and I had a delicious, relaxed dinner at Vins last night. Everything was excellent: our carafe of wine, the aubergine/labneh starter, crispy potatoes, and the perfectly-cooked monkfish tail. I'll be back with a bigger group so we can try more of the menu. Pricing was high but fair given the quality.

Great evening at Vins in Canonbury on Saturday evening with 3 friends. Owner looked after us really well, advising on the menu and wines. Excellent food, absolutely top notch. Will definitely be back.

We went to Vin’s last night for a birthday meal and we were all so happy to be there. We tried everything on the menu. The food was beautifully cooked and the stand outs were the beef (thick, juicy, garlicky slab of a beast) the labneh with aubergine and the gnocci. They also have a very fragrant bathroom and yes, these things do matter.
Really good service and chat from Vin and the lovely waitress.

What a delightful experience! We came in and were welcomed with warm service, and wonderful wine, food and music (don’t underestimate a good music system!). In a neighborhood full of vibrant and interesting restaurants and bars, this actually stands out:

Absolute hidden gem! Great food, great wine and amazing service. Every dish was exceptional - the lamb chops with leek and romesco was particularly delicious.

Vin's went above and beyond to accomodate a last minute booking for my 30th birthday. The atmosphere was intimiate and stunning, the food delicious and the wine matched really well. I couldn't have asked for a better place to have my loved ones together! I'll be returning for date nights and look forward to it!

Weekday evening date night with the wife. Charming service, dining al fresco. The menu was limited but interesting, and the food looked and tasted great.

One of my favourite places! You can tell it’s a real labour of love for the owner, who is extremely knowledgeable about wine. The wine is always lovely and of such good quality that I rarely get a hangover from a night out here! The food is also delightful. The atmosphere is relaxed and there’s an understated elegance to the place - LOVE!
