It was our first time there. The staff were incredibly friendly and pleasant. The food was excellent. The atmosphere was laid back and relaxing. We will be back.

We had a wonderful dinner for the retirement of a colleague - 30 people, and everything was really excellent. From the communication in preparation of the event, to the service on the evening, the food, the atmosphere. Most importantly all staff from the managers to the waiters to the kitchen staff are extremely friendly, uncomplicated. Without big fuss and with only a few waiters the food came perfectly on time for everyone, the pace was perfect. Excellent value for money.

A secluded alternative to many other pubs and bars nearby. Great little outdoors. But Madrid beer is not exactly Spanish. Try Cruzcampo or else.

Amazing food, absolutely wonderful service complete with stories about the building from the owner. It’s tucked away but bright, clean and modern. The owner had me sampling all the wine to see what I liked and made some wonderful suggestions. We stumbled on this amazing gem looking for someplace else and we are so glad we did.

They were so accommodating for a work party of 17, with ever-shifting group size and last minute additions. The food was great, brilliant wine selection and fantastic service.

What an absolute local gem in London. It was 3:30 PM, and I was looking for an extremely late lunch.
Even with the kitchen closed, they found a way to serve me a meal. The grilled chicken caesar was so delicious.
If you find yourself near The Glean, please stop in. You’ll not be disappointed.
Lovely outside seating as well.

Teriyaki salmon was my pick tonight and I wasn't disappointed.
Great food and service, I feel that if I lived closer that The Glean would become a regular haunt for me.
Will visit again.

We ate here tonight while the restaurant had a large party to serve alongside us.
We were welcomed from the start by Mandy, service , food and wine could not have been better. Beautifully presented dishes and perfect flavours.
Despite the large group at the restaurant our experience was unaffected and it was just nice to be part of a jolly atmosphere.
Thank you Mandy and Chef and other staff , a perfect way to end our couple of days away.

I was in London on business trip and looked for a place with fish and chips. So happy I chose this place. Fish was tender, not salty as I like, chips were tasty and accompanied by an absolutely superb tartar sauce with capers. Compliments to chef! Not crowded place on Tuesday night, nice glass of wine, great service. Added to my faves. Thanks!
