Was only £14.50 for three comedians, Absolute bargain!
Of the three comedians I had paid to see only one was there which was a bit annoying as I had paid to see Stephen Bailey, oh well the one I did see were funny.
I would recommend this venue as you can see great live comedy every night of the week (apart from Mondays) and its cheap.
Be aware that you will need photo ID upon entry and also they take your photograph.

The upstairs bar had some slight issues with music, however, the drinks were great and it looked really cozy. Went to a show downstairs, and OH MY GOD it was great! There was not a lot of space to sit as they use the venue for different events, so we had plastic fold out chairs and had to sit at the table with other people. However... none of that mattered when the show started. It was GLORIOUS! the only downside was the lady in the toilet as she went like "give me money" before she even said anything or I managed to do anything (literally went to look in the mirror). Like... I know you're there to earn tips, but come on, have some manners 😃 otherwise was a pretty good night!

DJ was so so good with his playlist.
Security outside were so helpful with access when there were issues accessing ID on my phone.
Customers that were there was a great mix and led to great atmosphere. No drama or trouble.
Staff were so friendly and helpful!
Met great people there that would love to again! Need to get their details 🤞🤞🤞

Whenever we visit Leicester Square we always eat here, tucked up a side street, up the stairs is the restaurant, beautiful decor high ceilings, staff always friendly polite, clean, food nice, good choice, although sometimes takes a while too come out depending on how busy I guess, there is a club here also I believe, been many times, and will continue too come back 😀

Kiki's Drag Show was absolutely brilliant. Great performers and plenty of laughs. The outfits, the make up, the dancing, the lip syncing and the singing was top notch..... The security staff at the venue though were super rude. The show finished and literally less than 5 minutes later we were shouted at and told to 'get out'. They were rude and abrupt and didn't even take in to consideration that drinks weren't even finished. The show ended on a high but the security staff really soured the evening.

Bouncers were extremely strict on entry they didn't let in a member of our party who they said was drunk but was completely sober and they were just flexing muscles by not letting her in which was a shame. Some other people they kicked out probably deserved it though as they clearly have a severe no drugs policy so it's pretty safe. They are strict on moving people along to protect the fire exists as well which does make sense but we were constantly being shuffled around the room by bouncers because of it. Like the moment we got our drinks told to leave the bar area. The music was also just slightly too loud my ears were ringing after wish I'd brought my earplugs! On the plus side the heightened security meant I felt safe and the music was great the vibe on the dancefloor was fab everyone was dancing their hearts out till the end of the night. Slightly older 25-35 crowd too which was a positive!

Came here for pizza and prosecco Thursday 7:30pm. Prosecco was gorgeous and plentiful. The girls kept topping up the glasses. Pizza was cooked to order and piping hot. Ambience was chilled and casual. Service was top notch. Very attentive servers who really care about their customers. Also a great view on the balcony of Leicester Square.

I enjoyed the party of my friends 21st birthday. Great food wished the meatballs was more than 4 but the steak was cooked to perfection and drinks was lovely. Friendly staff especially the French manager. Would like to explore the nightclub area, next time I am back.

Had dinner before a show. Cool location on Leicester Square in the heart of the theaters and really good food and attentive service. Had BBQ chicken melt and it was good BBQ flavor and sauce but flavors not buried in sauce. Complimented it well. I'll go back!

Leicester Square is overwhelming. It is packed full of bars, restaurants, cinemas and clubs, smothered with tourists and locals wandering around aimlessly. You need a solid reason or strong disposition to come here or you will be swept up by the wave of never-ending humans. The cinema is my draw, specifically the Prince Charles Cinema. A staple of the area, it stands out from the crowd by showing cult, arthouse and classic movies alongside the big releases. Although it does not favour showing the back-to-back movie blockbuster, it still stands up to the chains with comfortable and spacious seating, a cute little bar and a regular sing-a-long, currently, The Sound of Music.

I was surprised with a ticket to see Interstellar recently and as the showing did not start until 7.30pm, we were on the lookout for some quick pre-cinema dining.

Ruby Blue is literally across the road from the cinema so was convenient. We made our way up the staircase to the restaurant, passing the bar. Ruby Blue is well known for its night life, it is essentially a bar-come-club, for drinking and dancing. This shows in the simplicity of the food.

We were welcomed by a small but friendly team. A triallist was working and looked after us for most of the evening (hope she got the job). The food menu reads like many grill style restaurants. Your central selection of steaks and burgers, with an outer circle of cod and chips, sausage and mash, etc. There are no huge surprises on the menu, but that's not what Ruby Blue is about. It is about no-nonsense, stomach lining food to kit you out for a nights drinking in the bar/club.

For our starter, we opted to share a platter. It listed chicken wings, crab cakes, garlic bread, sticky BBQ ribs and tortillas with a selection of dips. The crab cakes were swapped with breaded calamari, which is not a problem, however we should have been given the heads' up. Some people are allergic and may assume it to be onion rings, chow down and then boom, you have an inflamed throat and you can't breathe. That said, all of it tasted fine.

For our mains, my dining partner had the burger which he liked. It was served well done (no one asked how he preferred it) with a selection of extras, one of which included jalapeno peppers which did not materialize. I opted for the pan fried chicken breast with new potatoes, wilted spinach and spicy tomato sauce. The chicken was excellent. The sauce was to die for. I am not sure what they put it in but it was very moreish and I could have been happy with just that and the chicken. The potatoes were plentiful, but at that stage I was too full.

It would have been tempting to have a hot chocolate brownie for dessert, but the clock was ticking and we had to get to the movies.

Ruby Blue is affordable, simple food to start your evening of partying, or like us, grab a quick bite before the movies. Being a member of tastecard, you get a whopping 50% off the already reasonably priced food. Do check the drinks bill though, as we were charged for two bottles of wine as opposed to two glasses. It was all very quickly resolved and the guys were very helpful.

I was in the bathroom, quietly washing my hands and face, and taking a few sips of water when one of their employees grabbed me by the scruff of my collar, ruthlessly dragged me out of the bathroom and threw me down 2 flights of stairs. I didn't attempt to resist the force of this attack because I wanted witnesses / other customers to see how this employee was treating me, and I knew that if I reacted, it would go against my case. This employee therefore concluded that I couldn’t stand up and that I was drunk when in fact my body just shut down out of complete shock. When I enquired both of the gentlemen bouncers outside the front entrance for his name, both of them refused to help me, one of them mockingly calling me "James Bond". I pleaded with them several times to speak with the manager, and was assured that the manager would be present as soon as possible. When the manager did not arrive, I walked back inside in an attempt to find an alternative member of staff. I was dragged off the stairs and thrust to the floor. Again, I didn't resist the attack too afraid to react in case they would hurt me. The manager did come out yet I was not made aware that he was the manager.

It happened quickly, without warning, and I was in shock, not wanting to react because I knew that would make the situation worse. To them, I had appeared visibly weak and for that reason I was stigmatised and targeted.

When I reported this to the club via email and phone, the marketing manager was understandably very helpful, assured me that it's not the way that the night club expect their customers to be treated and followed up the case. However, the general manager was unsympathetic and not only misrepresented the details but put their company interests above the customer's, and was therefore unable to resolve my complaint.

The experience I had at the hands of their staff was nothing less than physical assault, bullying and criminalisation, an attack completely devoid of warning or justification.

If you wish to pay money to enter a hostile, night club environment, complete with aggressive and cavalier staff who make you feel uncomfortable and treat you like a criminal, who repay you through violent attacks and verbal rudeness, and who deny you the right to seek on-the-night justification from the management, then this is the place for you.

I came to Ruby Blue as part of a last minute deal. I paid £24 for the two course meal and a ticket to the theatre. To be honest for the price I paid I couldn't complain.

However, the service was awful and the food just standard. They couldn't find our booking to start then found it and saw it was a booking for two not three as requested. Upon looking at our confirmation they agreed it was booked for three but still proceeded to add an extra chair on the table for two and squeeze us on to it. As there was only one other couple in the restaurant I think they could of moved us to a bigger table. Our waitress said nothing other than what do you want, as she left after plonking down our food we then spent ten minutes waving her down to ask for condiments.

On the way out one of the staff was blasting themselves in the mirror near the restaurant doors with hairspray and as we walked past to use the toilet is too!

Would not return unless another theatre package and no alternative available

This place is decent. It's small and don't bother going unless you've booked a table otherwise you'll feel like you're standing in the way wherever you are.
If you do have a table booked and like me you like to smoke this is one of the best places left, at the end of the bar are big double doors leading to a balcony that overlooks Leicester Square, there you can sip a cocktail or a beer have a cigarette and feel a sense of calmness as you look down at the frantic view of the hustle and bustle the crowds below.

I went here for my friend's birthday and I would definitely return. Good service. The food was great. We had the sharer's platter for our starter (a lot of food between four) and I had the sirloin steak for my main. Couldn't really complain, it was cooked the way I liked it. My favourite thing about this place was the ambiance, especially with the live pianist playing in the background. Would make a great place for a romantic date or just a group of friend's getting together.

Worst service ever received!. They lost my coat: it was on the cloakroom and they handled it to another customer. It was this last 1st of January, they wanted me to go home like that! The security staff and the Manager were so rude that I wholeheartedly recommend you not to go to this place. As a matter of fact, they didn´t want to speak to me, either they asked to a MALE to talk to.

Their customer service is such a rubbish that is everything but a service or a place to go for fun.
I am still trying to get in touch with them and they even don´t answer my emails or phone calls.
It is the worst service I have ever received.
