One Twenty One Two

We visited this restaurant using a woucher code and were not disappointed. Service was excellent. Food was good, hot and tasty. Side dishes are charged as extra. As with any hotel alcohol prices are a bit steep. However, for a special occasion its worth it. The ambiance and atmosphere was good. We went on a Wednesday evening, restaurant was quiet.

Dinner for four last week. Great food/drink and equally slow service due to a large party and limited staff. Two of us enjoyed the vegan Gratinated Cauliflower Steak and the guys loved their Slow Roast Rump of Lamb. It’s rare that I get to enjoy dairy-free desserts such as their Warm Chocolate Brownie and Vanilla Ice Cream. Gin and tonic is my go-to cocktail. It was fun trying their Beefeater Pink gin garnished with fresh raspberries and a bottle of good tonic water. It was a great way to rest our weary feet after a long day of sightseeing. I am glad that we made reservation’s for last Thursday.

Very pleasant restaurant in the middle of a very well decorated hotel. While food was good, it was a little underwhelming- especially for the price. Ordered the scallops tempura with lentil Dahl and wasn't sure what to expect. As the name suggests, the scallops were battered and deep fried and for me, completely lost the delicacy and freshness of the scallop which is a shame. I also thought the lentil Dahl was bland. Ordered the roast rump of lamp for main and I enjoyed this. Lamb was cooked perfectly and was not too chewy. Ordered the hot chocolate fondant for dessert which was good. While I did enjoy the food overall, I probably won't return.

Beautiful interiors, not too over fussy, very British and love the design around horses and horse guards...We ate at the restaurant as part of a Birthday treat for my best friend. The staff were very accommodating, friendly and professional as well as masked 😷 up. We even got a lovely personal message on my Instagram page from the Hotel wishing my best friend a lovely birthday and happy to be a part of it...lovely touch

Lovely looking place, really nice and cozy, lots of places to gather and sit for a relaxing pre-dinner drink. We had a voucher gift of a three course meal with champagne as an Anniversary gift. We loved the whole experience and would certainly recommend. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Take care when ordering water... ask for tap water each time you order more water, if that's what you want, otherwise you'll automatically get charged for bottled water. Otherwise all was perfectly good. 🌼
