Cracker Barrel

Cracker Barrel is a great place to grab a bite to eat. Country cooking and all the fixins. This location has easy access, plenty of parking and easy exit. Inside, you will find a great friendly staff that stays on top of your dining experience. Clean restrooms are also a part of the package at this location. I would go 5 stars but the only critique I have for all cracker barrels is the location of the bathrooms. I know they placed them for convenience but if you are there to eat, you have to walk through the people shopping and tight aisles to get to them. Food was excellent and service was very good. I had Mommas breakfast. Bacon was crispy, eggs were cooked as requested and the French toast was very good.

I don't want to think the poor service I received was due to my race, because I hate to hear of people doing this but I had the poorest service I have ever received in my life here. We were seated promptly but it took 20 minutes for someone to come and take our drink orders. Our food order was taken at the time our drinks were ordered. The food came at a reasonable time but only a portion of it. The broccoli was not brought to the table nor the bread. We were given bread to go and a refill of drink. Then the broccoli was still on the ticket. The reason I brought up race was because everyone else was white and everything I saw them get was immediate. The food was delicious but again the service for us was poor. I have never experienced this treatment from any other Cracker Barrel.

We were seated as soon as we walked in to the restaurant. We had an attentive, accommodating and pleasant server who went above to serve us what we asked and she didn't have us waiting and waiting for extra butter and refills on our drinks. It was like she only had to serve our table when she was waiting on several. Our food was good, served hot and just the way we ordered. I have no complaints. I like this Cracker Barrel!

I really enjoy this place. We have one about a mile down the road and I visit often. I am big on having Breakfast for lunch or sometimes even dinner and you can't beat Cracker Barrel Breakfast. Plus they have sugar free syrup for pancakes and sugar free jelly for your toast or yummy biscuits. I also love to look around and usually find a really nice shirt or funny or heart felt card. Visit a Cracker Barrel...trust me you won't be disappointed.

My wife, mother and I had lunch together after church around noon. We were told there would be a 20 minute wait to be seated. After a 30 minute wait we were seated, and Ethan our server was quick to take our drink orders. And we received them about 10 minutes later 2 ice teas and 2 ice wates.. Mom wasn't ready to order her meal at that time and Ethan told her to take her time. So he returned about 12 minutes later and we placed our food and bread orders. It took about 14 minutes to get our biscuits and cornbread. The biscuits were a little under cooked. The main entree came out about 20 minutes later. Our server explained apologetically that the restaurant staff was short handed. The food was hot, fresh and tasty. However, my daily special was pot roast beef and though flavorful the meat and vegetables were not properly prepared before cooking (they were not cut small enough for the fork or spoon). My house salad was fresh, and well prepared. My mom said that her coleslaw was a bit tough but the flavor was good. She had ice water the veggie plate with corn, mashed potatoes, coleslaw and cooked apples. My wife had ice tea the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes, green beans and cooked apples. She said they were good. And I had the pot roast beef with the house salad and both ice tea and ice water. The staff on hand were helpful even though they were very busy. My suggestion is to come back when the crowd is smaller or when they have hired more help for the servers.
