Ciao Napoli

Finally a true Italian/Neapolitan pizza maker!! I went to the restaurant and ordered 3 pizzas to take away. I could not believe it, they have all the authentic ingredients for a proper Neapolitan pizza,! I have lived in the UK for 10 years, and that has been the first time I managed to have a "Capricciosa" pizza(artichokes, ham and black olives). The other 2 pizzas were Rocket salad and Parma ham with parmesan shaves on top, and the last one was sausage, burrata cheese and FRIARELLE (u don't find that anywhere in uk restaurants!) It was not my intention to buy any desserts, but surprise surprise! They have Italian Cannoli from Sicily and Rum Babba from Naples, I couldn t resist! Honestly that is an hidden gem in Edinburgh, I only eat pizzas from 2 places in Uk: one is in Glasgow (Paesano pizza) and that will be my one in Edinburgh! You can even to get 20% discount if you order online! If you want a proper italian pizza don t hesitate to go to that place, you will pay half the price of Domino pizza , and have an authentic pizza! I wanted to take some pictures of the pizzas, but I was so desperate to eat them that I ve only managed to take a photo after few bites ahha!

For my taste, perfect and the real McCoy, like the best pizza I had in Naples, with the base I had there, different from the base normally found in the UK. I had the Positano, with raw tomato and rocket. My husband loved the Salciccia, also very typical of Naples. Two lovely guys, a pleasure to do business with. We'll be back!

Simple and small selection menu, how it should be. Very delicious and authentic pizza. We enjoyed both appetisers before the pizzas, it’s a lot of food so maybe share a pizza if you plan to have an appetiser. Friendly and happy staff that took good care of our 4 year old (who demanded colores and paper) and they kindly had to keep him happy and occupied while we waited for our food. We will be back!

Came here for dinner with friends - the pizza is really good! Very authentic and really tasty, and very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend. The only minor thing was that it's very brightly lit inside so it wasn't the most atmospheric place for dinner but this didn't take anything away from how nice the pizza was!
