Alchemy, Not Just A Pub

Stopped here on a whim based on the name alone. So glad I did. The atmosphere here was amazing. Lovely little spot. The signature cocktails were so good. Had the alchemist and would definitely get it again. The Phish and chips were also really good. The fries might be some of the best fries I've ever had. Place was clean, staff was extremely attentive and friendly. I for sure recommend this place if you need a drink or two or want a quick bite to eat. You can't go wrong!

Tried out alchemy after it was reccommend by a friend and it didn't disappoint. The drinks were tasty with a fun cocktail menu and the food was solid. We had the French dip and potato gnocchi and both were a hit. The French dip was a pricy for a sandwich but very good. The gnocchi had a delicious sauce but the gnocchi itself was a tad bit dry; I'm used to it being more soft and chewy. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere really felt like a small Irish pub. I would definitely recommend checking this place out.

This was awesome for lunch. The portions were perfect after a long morning of hiking. Plus the Alchemy beverage was so delicious. Their house drink is gin, kraken, benedictine, lemon, and thyme. We tried the Philly Steak and Fish n Chips. The breading on the fish n chips was so delicious and perfectly crispy. The ketchup did not taste like traditional Heinz and it was so much better. And the tartar sauce was so good I needed a secondary cup of it. Our server was so kind, sociable, and attentive. We wish we could have tried it for dinner as well.

Still Amazing! The new spring menu is top notch. If you've never eaten something called a Dragon's Egg I highly suggest popping into Alchemy and ordering one. I'm a wee bit Irish and a lot a bit foodie and this place combines Irish and creativity to make a divine menu. I've been many times and sample the menu with my friends and family (small children are welcome when there isn't an event). Haven't left with anything but complete respect for the chef, Jeff, who continuously comes up with outstanding meals. The setting is traditional Irish pub and is very cozy. The staff is small (its a small place) and sometimes when its busy they can be a bit slower on service but just sit back and enjoy the food, beer and conversation. This isn't a rushed lunch sort of place. Don't be afraid to try the menu. It may seem weird but I trust my taste buds will welcome salmon tacos with pickled veggies because I trust the chef knows his business. Every Tuesday is a new taco and that alone is worth coming back again and again. I recommend going with the 1 taco, 1 item off the menu, 1 beer.

Awesome experience here! Great service, and tasty with a bit of heat but not too much. We had the beer cheese soup with sausage and shrimp on the side. We requested on the side for our 5 year old. My brother had the Ruben, I had the bourbon glazed chicken with mushrooms. We also tried the Apple, bacon flatbread. All good options. We were looking for different and this hit the spot. Note: It was chilly by the window but I'm sure the other tables towards the interior were warmer. With 1 drink each our meal was around $90 for 4 adults and the shrimp for our daughter.
