Basil Thai and Sushi is great for Thai food and OK for sushi. The Thai food is authentic if not a little Americanized. The sushi I experienced was not properly rolled and had a tendency to collapse. There tend to not be enough servers so expect long waits between drinks. The atmosphere is a bit too dark for me - a little more light would not be a bad thing. Overall a great restaurant!

We were looking for a unique place to have dinner in Brunswick. Everywhere we called said there was a long wait and we didn't have that kind of time. We ended up Downtown at this amazing restaurant. Walked in and we were seated right away! Smelled wonderful!! Unusual menu, like a fusion of Thai and Japanese food. We ended up ordering a tray of sushi. We had no idea what it would be. It was absolutely delicious 😋!! We thoroughly enjoyed it. So glad we stumbled across it. We will definitely go again.

I’ve been here twice recently. The service, quailing of food and prices are amazing. I strongly suggest the fried oyster roll and crispy Flounder Hibachi Bowl!

Basil Thai is by far the best Asian restaurant in the area. The ambiance is so cozy, the servers are friendly and attentive, and the food is delicious. The vegetarian pad Thai is amazing!

I had the shrimp green curry and a chocolate martini. The curry was flavorful and the shrimp were perfectly cooked. The martini was really tasty. Great server.

So lovely!! We split the duck with a side of noodles and could not have been more full after. The sauces are wonderful and the duck was crisp and moist. It was extremely busy and still the service and food was quick and wonderful.

If you're looking for a great restaurant in Brunswick GA, look no further than Basil Thai and Sushi! I recently visited on a Friday night and was blown away by the fantastic food, charming ambience, and positive vibe. The location is perfect, and the restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere. Although the prices are a bit on the high side, the quality of the food and service more than justifies the cost. Overall, I highly recommend Basil Thai and Sushi for anyone looking for a delicious meal and a great dining experience!

Service not always 100% attentive but friendly. Fried rice was very good even though i will never understand why you serve a „fatty“ mayonnaise sauce along with it. Probably that’s just the American taste, as mayonnaise has nothing to do with this traditional dish
