Small place with authentic Mexican food
Google
Around here in Austin one encounters plenty of overpriced bland mexican restaurants, I have had the pleasure of finding this little gem and at first glance might not seem that excitingly pretty, but it is amazing tasting food, these people know what they’re doing when it comes to making amazing food, worth every penny. best of luck to them!

Best tacos I've had, truly a diamond in the rough. The handmade tortillas are excellent. The ingredients of every taco and even breakfast burrito have always been high quality.

This is by far the best sit in and take out Latino restaurant that I've patronized in Austin, TX. I'm a be very honest with you as an African American born and raised in the northeast (NY) and a vegetarian I'm not too much a fan of eating Latino food (from Central America, Mexico; etc) Most of their Taco trucks/stands, restaurants serve alot of beef, pork, rarely have yellow rice, vegetables, beans and so they don't serve balanced nutrituous meals.
In NY, NJ there are boldegas which are basically delis owned by Puerto Ricans, Dominicans, and sometimes Cubans (but it's a small percentage.) Most serve, beef, pork, chicken, yellow rice, an assortment of vegetables, beans; etc. I don't eat beef, or pork and if all I can buy is a chicken taco it's a one shot deal with me. I may buy because, I'm hungry but I will not patronize again. I don't eat White rice either.
I purchased a 1/2 chicken, yellow rice and beans like six months ago. The chicken comes diced up in pieces, a choice of either flour or corn tortillas, a little plate of onions, a side of lime slices andcilantro, and little dishes of sauces. It's like lunch and then enough for dinner. It was 14.99 then, and now the price is now 19.99 which still isn't bad because it's enough for two meals. So if you're solo it's two meals, and if it's you and someone else, yall both can eat.
I've eaten here probably about 5 times within 6-7 months and it's mainly because I'm not always in the area otherwise I would come more often. This is my Mexican go to spot in Austin. I must also add that the service is real quick as well. I just bought a meal from them yesterdyesterday, ate half around 7PM and got up an hour ago and finished the rest. Had to write a review.

This place was amazing!!! The food was cheap, quick, and tasted amazing! Their red salsa is delicious but very spicy. If you are new around the area I would 1000% recommend you to go here for food.

Fast and Delicious! I got the pambazo with avocado.

This place is LEGIT! Don't let the full parking lot scare u. Some of the best authentic food around in ATX. I usually do cabeza (barbacoa) tacos and chicken fajita tacos. But the pastor and all the other meats are just as succulent and flavorful. Try the specials as well. Bistec a la mexicana is phenomenal!

Absolute Greatness !! I devoured everything and oh boy, I was full for the whole day and the prices are just right. I had breakfast eggs, rice beans, and something else (It didn't matter..it went inside of me). I had the chorizo and egg and ham and egg tacos and bro!!...so epic good!! it is a real authentic Mexican. There are about 8 tables, but still, it's a solid joint. None of the Mickey Mouse tex mex from the downtown restaurants. You want some real natural flavor from Mexico, then come over and leave full!! forever!! And ever!!

If you knew how hard I’ve looked for good authentic Al Pastor tacos all over Austin… I’ve tried them almost everywhere and almost nothing comes close to this.
They have an actual trompo and the meat is actually cooked on it not just kept warm and cooked on the griddle(cough cough.. One Taco.. Cough).
I had mine with and without the cooked pineapple, personally I prefer without so it’s really nice to have the option. Great corn tortilla too.
10/10 recommend
