Mesa Rosa

We went here at dinner time. It gets pretty busy, but I can see why. The patio is a party! Kids playing on the playground, entertainment, and waiters attending to tables. Fajitas were a bit more room temperature when they arrived without much flavor, but adding the guacamole and salsa made them delicious. Margaritas were strong and large! The atmosphere is definitely top-notch. Loved the Elvis impersonator!

We were visiting from near Chicago and stumbled upon this restaurant. We loved this atmosphere and our kids loved the playground! What a great addition to bring families in. The food was your typical Mexican restaurant food the margs were yummy and the fajitas were amazing! Service was a bit slow (Sunday evening) but the playground helped the time pass for our kids.

Was getting late on Sunday night and other places were closed 😪 so we stopped in for dinner. Got seats right away and the server took our drink order. We got chips and salsa then ordered our food. Our food arrived in good time 😋 but after that we had to fiend for ourselves, find a to go box and then waited for a bill, but it didn't get there so had to go find someone to pay. The food was tasty 😋 but the service needs attention as there was only one other party in our area.

Everything worked great for us. We came in between rushes so the tables were fairly open. This was a perfect place to go after a hike with children. They had a great atmosphere for the kids. The food was delicious. The margaritas were good. The chips came out warm and were a great appetizer to start with. Well definitely go back.

Coming from a Mexican America: I decided this place from an Instagram post (mostly the playground and the fact that this momma could have a margarita in silence while kids go play). While I was on the way I read some reviews and hoped I wouldn't be disappointed. I won't know until I try it myself. On a Saturday evening it was not packed at all (which I preferred at the moment not to be around too many people). was sat right next to the playground (which was the hostess putting two and two together) and the waiter was already speaking my language about a margarita with tajin rim. My tamale plate was delicious. The margarita was my level of strong and stayed frozen despite temperatures out. My husband finished his entire plate. And the bill was about $120 after 4 margs, four entrees, small queso. The chips were warm and thin (which I love) and the salsa was perfectly mixed (not being too hot but very flavorful). I'm definitely going back so this momma can have a strong marg while the kiddos play (don't judge lol I'm a hard working motha). God bless this restaurant!

I absolutely loved this place 🙌🏻 I would definitely come back when I visit Austin with family. The food was great, delicious hot & ready ! The drinks were delicious great sweet & spicy(watermelon margarita on the rock) beside the great food, they have a park and dinning outside which made this even better ! If you have kids & want to enjoy time here is the place, while you sip on your margarita you watch your babies play. 100% recommended
