Had a late lunch on a Sunday and had incredibly fast service. Didn't even have time to relax before our food came out. We both enjoyed our meals.

Okay sushi for the price given it’s in an airport. Certainly minimal care and effort was put into making it. One of the first pictures posted here shows a very nice presentation compared to what I received. Pretty sure they were pre-made based on how quickly my order came out. Didn’t taste fresh at all. The overall flavor was bland and hard to discern the different ingredients as I would expect from a good sushi place.

(Due to construction I assume) none of the restaurants are before security at this point. Looks nice though!

Sushi is good but check your bill: they overcharge. We ordered a 2 piece, were charged for a whole roll, ordered house wine, were charged for premium.

Sushi was not fresh; I finally spit out one piece and left another on my plate. California roll nori was chewy. Service was slow and inattentive.

Great little Japanese restaurant with fast and efficient service. Always try to stop in here when in DCA airport.
Food is fresh and as good of quality I have seen anywhere else. Prices are decent particularly for a restaurant in an airport.
I do not eat sushi any place. I typically stick to a few with a known quality.
I am glad they re-opened after being closed for remodel. I think they have been here over 10 years.

I good place to dine at the Washington airport. If you have time, you should have your meal outside the security zone. And Matsutake is one of the best restaurant you should consider.
Reasonable prize, wide variety of food choice and good taste.
