The food ordered today was lovely. My cod was fresh and the portion was quite generous! The owner was lovely and very accommodating.

Chips were hard and dry and clearly reheated. Fish had an off taste to it and when I opened the fish there was a orangey brown colour to it. When I went back into fish shop to show them the manager accused me of not buying the fish there and called me a liar, very rude.

Very disappointed with cod and chips bought yesterday.
Told it would be 10 minutes, no problem as hoped it would be cooked fresh.
When I got home, the fish was very dark and looked either over cooked or double cooked. At £21.10 not a cheap meal for two!

Great service, didn't have to wait too long for the food. Love the fact that they do family chips as always way too much when you buy an individual pack. The curry sauce was amazing, the meal was a little let down by the fish which was overcooked and very dry. Would probably try them again as hoping this was a one off.

Absolutely amazing chippy, burgers are divine and cheap but high quality. The staff are extremely friendly and all the food there is very good. Would recommend if someone wants a good quality double cheese burger. The cod is also very good.
