Such an amazing sandwich! She’s a one woman show, so be patient. It’s well worth the wait when she’s busy! Never seen a sandwich or salad that compares!

Today was my first time going to The Breadcrumb. I had read previous reviews that said the hours aren't always reliable, so I went off of what The Breadcrumb's facebook page said since it seems to be updated more often there. The owner Marcy greeted me just as I entered the cafe. She was very friendly and upbeat. There were a few people ahead of me, but it wasn't much of a wait. She was the only one working, and it's my understanding that it's a one woman show. She does everything herself and was doing a fantastic job keeping up with orders and chatting with customers.
I decided to order the Optimus Prime Sandwich which is made with London broil, Pepper Jack Cheese, Horseradish, Red Onion, Red peppers, and Jalapenos on toasted bread. It came with potato chips and a pickle. It was only $11.50 and considering how much food there was I think that's a definite bargain. There's more than enough to share with another person. The sandwich was so delicious and I would order it again. A few people ahead of me ordered salads and those looked massive too.
The Customer Service and food here is great. I'll absolutely be back.

Best sammies in the valley! This is a one person shop, and the owner hustles to make each sandwich and salad to order. Very busy the last few times I went, but it's worth the wait!

The most delicious and best sandwiches in the valley! The Optimus Prime is my favorite, definitely worth the drive, the sandwich literally was lunch and dinner, it was packed with tender slices of beef, had the right amount of spice and the bread was fresh! If you had more stars I would give them. We're going again to try the others!

Don't waste your money here. Owner cares nothing for her customers or the business it seems. I've visited this establishment multiple times. I tried to ignore all the other negative reviews. Enjoyed the sandwiches, complimented the owner on her work like a good patron would do. After a couple times where I drove 30+ minutes to get a sandwich only to find out that she was not open when she stated she'd be open, I made a friendly suggestion to her to try to make her hours a little more accurate for those of us who have to drive far and don't get many opportunities to get up that way (since she's only open weekdays about 4 hours a day). She got super defensive, despite me trying to be polite and constructive and she ended up removing me from the business page and blocking me rather that listen to the feedback. I understand things happen sometimes but this is not an isolated incident for me, nor quite a few other people from what I've seen and heard. What kind of childish business owner can't take constructive feedback from their customers. Obviously one who doesn't care much about the business and has the temper of a 2 year old. Change the attitude and the business model and I'll change my rating, until then I'll take my money elsewhere.

Lady was super rude wouldn’t even answer how much something in her fridge was, I asked how much was a canned red Bull and all she screamed was I don’t make drinks I make sandwhiches. Would not recommend.
Edit- I’ve noticed a pattern of talking down to customers in reviews she did that as well, I thought it was just a bad day turns out lady’s just super rude. Good food horrible people running it

Never ate here and never will, due to the owner's APPALLING attitude! I've been in the customer service industry for 16 years, 6 them in the food industry helping manage a restaurant. I would *never* recommend eating here just due to her lack of customer service skills and unprofessionalism! When I arrived, she was complaining to a customer about how she refused to open her store for the holiday because last year she worked super hard, but ended up loosing a lot of money "so it wasn't worth it". Even if that is true, you should NOT tell a guest that! Then she noticed my red Doordash bag and turned on me, asking if I had an order for pick up. I told her yes and that's when I was rudely informed that she "doesn't work with Doordash, never has worked with Doordash, doesn't know why her store keeps getting put onto Doordash but they needed to take it off, and she would NOT be helping me today." I must have seemed taken aback because she then tried to kill me with kindness by wishing me a good rest of my day. I called the customer and explained the situation, then called Doordash too and they got the customer her money back. I get that everyone has bad days, but her misdirected frustration was unacceptable! I guess she's never heard of "don't shoot the messenger".
