Basekamp

We hosted multiple group meetings at BaseKamp this week, and everyone loved it. The staff were so accommodating and made sure there were tables reserved for us each day. The atmosphere is relaxed and quiet, which made it perfect for what we were looking for. The coffee was amazing, and the cakes were delicious. We will be back for some meetings again hopefully!

One of the best cafes in Swansea! Went here to work yesterday and it was so good. The interior is sick, such a good idea! I'm a barista so tend to be a coffee snob and this was literally one of the best latte's I've ever had. Cutest dog too! Going back there today with a friend, would definitely recommend!!

Lovely vibe here. Minimalist is refreshing. Coffee was very good. I've past this place so many times glad I ventured inside. The resident dog stole my heart ❤️ beautiful. I didn't eat this time but shall do soon. I love bagels. Great atmosphere....so calming. Superb place to chill or catch up with working online.

Very spacious and modern, love the added greenery 💚 it just all comes together nicely! The food selection was great with a range of savory meals to cakes. I had a delicious honey and bergamot cake and it was delicious and soft! Also very aesthetically pleasing. The milkshake was also sweet and creamy. Staff were friendly ☺️

Very close to central retail parks and the station - set within a spacious, bright and clean coffee shop mostly based on an upstairs mezzanine and with plenty of outside seating too. Easy to meet someone here for a coffee and chat and not be disturbed by other customers/ also a good place for you to come and work and not feel as if you’re taking up lots of space. Good toilets. Other coffee shops in the local area didn’t look as nice to be honest and that’s why we settled here ! Staff at the counter were very friendly, as others have said the dog Dil engages with the customers but lets you be. Coffee was good - seemingly no extra charge for alternative milks as opposed to what the menu on the counter said (+60 p seemed hefty so we were happy about this). Hard Lines coffee was being sold but Clifton Coffee Roasters in the grinder. Cakes as a standard at the counter. There was a “Rind and Grind” food menu, but it was heavily focussed on bacon bagels and, whilst there were a few vegan options, these didn’t tickle us as we are not a fan of fake bacon/ facon/ fegan fitems. We are curious how much it costs to rent such a good space within the area and seemingly in an old ? listed building too. Would be perfect for intimate gallery settings/ exhibitions.
