Food was fantastic, the BBQ platter is a great new addition to the menu and tasted amazing. Adult section had a nice little touch of where the lighting is dimmer of an an evening with candles lit on the table to make the atmosphere a little more refined. Been a few times and not faulted the service, lot of new faces but all are very attentive and polite. Excellent visit yet again. Establishment is a credit to the local area.

It was the first time I’ve eaten here with my family and the food was delicious. The menu offered lots of different options which was great for my fussy sister. The staff were very friendly and answered any questions I had and suggested the fudge cake it was just what I wanted. Overall I’ll definitely bring my family here to eat again.

Had a lovely meal followed by a sharing dessert.
It was quite busy on the day but the staff were all very friendly and helpful. As with all eating places now prices have increased but taking this into account the meal was good value for money. Would have no hesitation eating here again. And all in a lovely setting, close to shugborough and some lovely walks

My experience here was excellent. The food was great and delicious. The atmosphere was fun and the service incomparable. I’m currently on vacation from the US and I was recommended to try barrel beer. I enjoyed it a lot with a double espresso. The waitress was patient and amazing. I wish I had asked her for her name but shout out to her! Will definitely be back next time I’m in the UK, sooner than later.

It was our first time here at the Barley Mow and first impressions were good. Booked a table for 1515 and we were shown to our table. The food was absolutely delicious and well presented. I would of given this venue a full house of five stars but unfortunately the service is poor even though the place wasn’t all that busy and the staff took this as to their advantage to chit chat amongst themselves. Overall though it’s a lovely place and I would definitely return!

Fantastic food . Didn't take any photos . There was a mistake made with our starter, which they handled really well, apologised and didn't charge us for it . I think thats the test of an establishment - when they get things wrong and how they deal with it. I couldn't fault them. Every dish was banging - especially the chicken sharer and steak sandwich . Would recommend .
