Amigos Bakery

What a gem in South Philly, my husband and I drove all the way from Olney to get their awesome baked goods. Every single time is a pleasant experience. We've been there 3 times, in our last visit we had their mini cannolis, tiramisu and chocolate tres leches cakes and FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER, each member of our family enjoyed and devoured the whole thing with the biggest smile. It satisfied each of their taste buds for sure. Keep up the outstanding work Amigos.

Dad wanted a plain birthday cake for his birthday. I walked to the bakery, asked if they had plain birthday cakes and a baker showed me a birthday cake and he asked me what I wanted written on the cake. It was a layered, yellow cake with vanilla buttercream frosting and it was delicious! Dad was happy. Thank you, Amigos Bakery.

Pre ordered a tres leches cake to be picked up Christmas Eve. The man who took my order was very friendly and helpful and recommended I get the cake with pecans and peaches. I opted for the large cake because I was responsible for providing dessert for the whole family. We ended up having to throw out the whole cake because it was so disgusting. It was really embarrassing because it was my fault and my family loves dessert . It tasted like it wasn’t made correctly:( very disappointing I paid $40. I’m giving 2 stars since the place was clean and they were nice

I was very excited and looking forward to bringing a pre-ordered cake for my moms bday. I picked it up and there was miscommunication about the payment. They wanted me to pay twice. I was disappointed because I’ve made this order two weeks prior with a full payment. When it was finally time to cut the cake, the inside was completely dry. A Tres Leches cake is supposed to be moderately soaked in milk, and this one wasn’t. It was halfway melted by the time I got home. Truly disappointed because I’ve always ordered with them for every occasion. Definitely not coming back after this experience.
