Uncle Nick's Hand Tossed Pizza

The pizza is delicious. The owner, Bobby, is an extremely nice guy and has awesome plans on how to continue to improve the pizza shop. Everyone that works there is friendly and whenever I order delivery, it gets to me with the right order in a very short period of time. One of the best pizza places in Philly. Highly recommend.

This pizza shop was recently bought by the owner of Karma Indian restaurant on Market Street. I’m not sure it’s on their official menu yet, but I just had an Indian Butter Chicken pizza and it was amazing! It had all the flavors of one of my favorite Indian dishes, but in pizza form. Mind=blown. Can’t wait to see more crossover menu items!

Remember when you were a kid and wanted takeout and your mom said she could make a burger just as good? Well, this place is better than that! I ordered the Burger Deluxe and was glad I brought it home to eat so I could wash my hands between bites of the outrageously delicious sloppy mess I made as I gobbled the wonderful creation. The bun was toasted, the cheese melted, and the fresh tomato and purple onion slices stacked on the perfectly cooked 100% all beef patty should have been savored. Try it, see if you can control yourself.

There are some pizza places nearby that can be a little cheaper, but Uncle Nick’s is definitely worth the price! My favorite thing about the place is their pizza crust; it’s honestly the best around. Service is always quick and pleasant and it is close to many other shoppes along Girard Ave along with accessible transit routes such as the 15 trolley and both the 7 and 48 bus routes.
