The Maltings - Pub & Grill

I was stranded without a car for two days and left waiting for the garage near by to fix the issue and came across this lovely pub. The staff were lovely, the food was amazing and very quick to arrive. The staff helped me keep my young son occupied with a colouring book. Every member of staff went above and beyond in making us feel welcome.

Everything was good except when we were done and the person clearing the table asked us whether we wanted any desert. We said no. Usually this would be when the person would leave us. However the person said oh you want just the bill and what else could we say except yes please. She quickly brought along the bill, we paid and left. This was weird because the place was not full and we felt we were being kicked out. Everything else was good. The other person who took our orders was very nice, friendly and warmth. Just the bill thing was weird.

We got stranded in Perth on a family trip due to severe inclement weather (20th October 2023) and decided to have breakfast here. So glad we did. We were immediately greeted by the host and sat at a table. The restaurant and toilets were spotless. The food was served quickly and was cooked to perfection. There was no problem catering for my stepson who has a severe wheat allergy. Special mention to the host. He was efficient, friendly and full of personality. We will definitely be back if we’re in the area again.

One of the best pubs I've ever been to. The food was fantastic, our waitress was lovely and friendly and to top off a fantastic meal they have a doggy menu. Our Border Terrier was beyond impressed with the amount of chicken he got for just £2 and the fact all that £2 goes to Macmillan is a bonus. 5⭐ and a must for dog owners!!

5 stars! We were on holiday and found this place on our first day, we ended up coming back three times we enjoyed the food and ambience that much. Food is really nice and reasonably priced. Staff were all without exception friendly and welcoming. Speed of service was amazing, honestly the fastest I've been served with a main meal anywhere else! Had a few different dishes between the family over our three visits and thoroughly enjoyed every one of them. Would definitely come back if we are ever in the area again.
