I ordered the BBQ Vermicelli Delight. I think its description speaks for itself - seasoned BBQ pork, crispy spring roll and tiger shrimp skewer over vermicelli, cucumber, and sprouts; garnished with pickled carrot, mint and peanuts and served with chili-lime fish sauce. The combination of flavours provided for a light yet filling meal. I especially loved the spring roll and peanuts mixed in. I would definitely recommend this dish.

Best restaurant I've been to in years. Since they closed the Only on King I've been looking for my new favorite restaurant. This weekend I found it at Tamarine. We went with a group of 5 people and everyone ordered an appetizer, entree and dessert. All the food was delicious, particularly the Avocado rolls, mango salad and mochaccino crisp. The service was also great! I'm already planning my next visit and recommending it to all my friends.

Mango salad and long bean curry both delicious. Perfect portions. Not your typical curry - so much thought has gone into each ingredient. Huge vegetarian selection. The owner, Long, has a contagiously kind presence and so much passion for (and knowledge of) food. If you're lucky enough to go on a night when his wife's homemade French macarons are being offered - treat yourself! Everyone at my table of 5 raved about all of their food, and we each had a cocktail, app, main, and dessert. Impressive. This is my new go-to.

Will, for sure, go back. The food was perfect Really cohesive and not overstated in flavour. Good portions if you're a hungry guy like me. The rear section of the dining room is a little dark, not helping read the tiny menu font but our server helped me choo choo choose some gluten free items. Service started great and the food came out fast enough but they weren't quite ready for the rush that showed up. Thanks for dinner tonight.

There is no parking lot or structure atrached to this restaurant but there is plenty of street parking and parking lots around the area. There are a lot of tables here in this surprisingly large restaurant so bring your groups or yourself to this restaurant. If you can make a reservation that is always best but I was able to walk right in with a table of 2 on a Saturday and had no problems. The food here was the best Vietnamese food I have tried yet in the city. The flavours were great, the meat was cooked to perfection and everything was very tasty. Couldn't recommend the food here more. Now it is a little more expensive than other Vietnamese restaurants in the city but you get what you pay for and it is more upscale dining as well. Overall best Vietnamese Restaurant London has to offer so don't hesitate to grab a meal here!!!

The food was very tasty. The ambience was "okay" - very quiet for a Friday. I wouldn't consider this a "bustling" place for people watching / having a drink. Wine menu (by the glass) could be expanded. Was surprised to see so few traditional Vietnamese options but the menu was varied and also had excellent vegetarian options. Service was excellent. I will definitely return!

I have been to restaurants with good food... I have been to restaurants with good prices....and I have been to restaurants with great service. Tamarine is one of the few restaurants I have been to that embodies all of these three things. The servers are attentive, insightful, and discrete... they provided great suggestions and really made the experience memorable. Even as the restaurant became busier as the night went on, I never needed to ask for another drink refill. The owner of the restaurant is extremely hospitable and really takes the time to make you feel like a valued costumer. When it comes to the food we had the Tamarine Taste starter which gave us the opportunity to try multiple dishes that we had not while we waited for our entrees. Our main courses (Pad Viet & Pepper Pork Clay Pot) ,once again, surpassed our expectation...everything and I mean EVERYTHING we ate, was layered with flavour and cooked to perfection. I would, and plan to, drive to London again for this restaurant alone. 10 stars Tamarine.....you guys truly know how to make dining an experience. :)

We went here for our anniversary and it was such an amazing experience. The waitress was friendly and helpful, went above and beyond to recommend menu items and she even offered to take a picture of my boyfriend and I. Service 5/5 The food itself is beyond what other Viet/Thai restaurants in London are capable of, it is a bit pricy in comparison but you can really taste the difference and more. Cannot recommend the Basil Beef and Tea Leaf Beef enough, both such amazing flavourful dishes. The mango shrimp salad and Pad Thai I had were really good too, and certainly better than anything else in London, but the beef dishes won the night. Food 5/5. It's a bit out of the way and hard to get to with the construction, and definitely pricier, but worth the trek through construction.

If you are looking for an authentic Vietnamese experience with delicious food, lovely romantic atmosphere, fine and friendly owner/staff service in the downtown area, then this place should be on your list of regular haunts for you and your bow! I have never been disappointed EVER! I love everything about this place; only wish I could go more often.
