The Safari Pizza Co Pizzeria & Wine Bar

We hosted my son’s pizza making party at Safari Pizza. There were 17 kids aged between 7-8. Alex and team were the best. Nothing was too much and they did a fabulous job! The kids loved the pizza making party and they all loved the pizzas they made. Atmosphere was really good too. This is now our favourite place for pizzas. The prices are also very reasonable for a wood fired pizza. I’d highly recommend Safari Pizza. Their pizzas are really delicious and their customer service is top notch. Will visit again soon!

The food was really high-quality, everything we ate was so tasty and felt like a real quality meal, we feel a lot of places we go to serve pizza tend to just have decent, but not outstanding pizzas. But here it really felt like you were getting something of quality The staff were really friendly and professional. the person that served us was having a laugh with the customers and it just made the whole atmosphere a really enjoyable place to be. Coming here was a great idea for date night and my wife and I will definitely be returning and eating here again. Definite 10 out of 10.

Awesome Afrikan-style restaurant! The vibe is so unique, great attention to details, design 🥰 . And the pizza was seriously amazing - it was cooked in a wood-fired oven and had the perfect crispy crust with fresh toppings. But honestly, what really made the experience was the staff. They were so friendly and helpful, and they knew the menu inside and out so they could recommend the best dishes. Would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for something different and delicious! 🍕 🍷 🎉

We love this place. Our little one loves their children’s Margherita pizza. Devours it. The pepperoni with jalapeños slaps!! And slaps in a good way!! The dough is light and tasty. The undercarriage just has the right amount of char. It’s not quite Neapolitan. It’s their own style. All reasonably priced. Front of house have been lovely each time we’ve visited. It’s a million miles from the usual mainstream rubbish served up by Dominos Papa Johns Pizza Express etc. We are so happy this pizzeria exists in Haywards Heath.

My favorite Sussex pizza place, Safari Pizza isn’t just about the creative and delicious pizza pies, it also has a terrific beer selection, crafted cocktails, and excellent wines. That all said, the staff are what makes Safari such a solid option for a date night, a friend’s gathering, a reunion with family, or just pizza with the kids. A really great place.

Was an excellent experience for a group of 4. All staff lovely. Food was extremely tasty and prepared quickly. Had a lovely local wine with the meal and the overall vibe of the place was charming. Accomodated for different types of diets (Vegan, Vegetarian) and also for allergies (good non tomato options). Great to have an independant restauraunt in Haywards Heath!

Delicious pizzas, great service and great selection of alcohol free beers. This was our first visit. We dropped in on a Thursday evening at 8pm and the place was packed. We only had the option of sitting at the bar which was all good. The seats were surprisingly comfortable. The menu selection is wide with lots of pizzas (obvs) and starters and desserts. Great drinks menu. We’ve quit alcohol so was very happy to see a nice selection of AF beers and gin. So often the AF selection is an after thought. We were served quickly and the pizza came out very quickly. They were fresh and very tasty with a good portion of toppings. The dough is incredibly light. Very good! We didn’t try anything else. The prices are good. Will defo be back! A great addition to the Broadway.

Great pizza, excellent service, wide range of drinks! We’ve been wanting to try out Safari Pizza’s new pizzeria and wine bar and finally got the chance with friends. The pizzas are creative and delicious with a good selection for all and a range of vegan pizzas available too. Pizzas have pillow-like fluffy crusts and are topped well. Love the local range of wines from the likes of Bluebell and Court Garden. A really excellent restaurant with even better pizza.
