This museum is an amazing day out, good for all the family, Something for everyone, free entry, cafe, and plenty of interesting and informative exhibitions. The building itself is beautiful inside and out. Transportation is good, there is a bus stop right outside the entrance.

The Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum is a free museum that I loved going to growing up and I like that the different sections of the museum make it feel more like multiple individual museums in the main building. The building itself is very beautiful and it's historic, and it's a great place to visit no matter what season it is, I personally liked going there in the winter and seeing the frost on the windows and that was so nice to see especially since the indoors is always at a comfortable temperature. One of my favourite places in Kelvingrove Museum is seeing the taxidermy, especially of the animals that are now extinct as it offers an up-close experience of the animals and helps to gain a fuller understanding of what the world used to look like before and compare that to now and looking at the features of the animals and understand how they survived back then.

Free entry. Great collection of art that is presented nicely. The museum section is also interesting. You can easily spend a few hours here. There are different types of interesting things to see here; animals, birds, insects, paintings, sculptures, guns, rocks, Egyptian artefacts.

Amazing, Walked through quickly. Great place for kids and souvenir shoppers. Very eclectic. The organ player was entertaining a crowd as we entered. An eclectic grouping grouping of collectibles. The museum is free with a donation box at the entrance. There is a cafe on the main level and a restaurant on the lower level. Both were crowded when we visited.

Absolutely wonderful museum and art gallery. For me the most stunning part is the building itself. Outside is good but inside is spectacular. Very helpful and friendly guides. No charge to enter except for special exhibitions. Quite similar to the Natural History museum in London but with art. We spent a few hours here and could easily have doubled it. Will be going back for more, that’s for certain!

Great museum to check out in Glasgow! definitely worth visiting for a range of exhibits on display. Could spend a whole day wandering around here. Loved the creative sculptures & animal exhibits. They also have a mesmerising organ performance in the afternoon that is worth seeing! Loved all the gift shops here too. ⭐

The Kelvingrove Museum is Glasgow is best described as “chaotic”. It’s not an art museum, it’s not a natural history museum, it’s not a science museum - it’s a little bit of everything. Items are displayed in interesting ways but telling a story of why items are grouped together isn’t always happening. The downstairs cafe is a good place for a lunch and the toilets are clean. Best part, it’s free to enter! I would recommend allowing yourself 2 hours to explore and get a good overview.
