Went in for food and a quick drink whilst shopping. Staf were great, very friendly and attentive. The food was really good too. Great food with good portions

Food is amazing. I came here with my mum and she had the fish and chips and i had the cheese toastie. Good portion sizes. We both had a brownie for dessert. Service was good as well

Great night out with excellent live music from Hannah Dorman.
Service could be faster at the bar, they were a little understaffed for the number of people, but all in all a highly recommended pub.

It's a good place to start the night in this small town. They have a happy hour and very good food (including traditional UK dishes). There is a live DJ, but the music just fills the background and doesn't incentivate dancing (at least on a Tuesday). However, nobody will stop you if you wanna go ahead and dance!

Went there Saturday 29 July for a quick lunch with my older son.
Really friendly gentleman served us and took our food order (I think it was his first day there) The food was amazing and the service was excellent.
There was music outside and the atmosphere was nice.
A really friendly pub in the centre of town, highly recommended for food. We will be back there again soon for sure. The bar and kitchen staff went out of their way to help us and made us feel so welcome.
( Only one thing the toilets smelt nasty.)

Went to the Punch Bowl on a rare night off & was served by Jed & Georgia & brought our drinks by Jed, absolutely lovely service & atmosphere, I felt like I was at my local, and the bar itself felt really friendly and welcoming. Could not recommend this pub more for the friendly service and welcoming atmosphere. Did not eat here, but have in the past & it was delicious. 5 stars!

Great cozy place with warm atmosphere. Nice garden if you feel seating outside. Excellent choice of beer and food.

Really nice traditional feel because of wooden interior, good space for outside seating area with heaters. Great service and we ordered only chips along with drinks but chips were great too. Indoors too descent seating and ambience. TV screens to watch games which is good to have. Would definitely visit again.
