Caffe Concerto Birmingham

We had the afternoon tea and it was delicious Sandwiches were plentiful and soooo tasty and the scones were warm which was a very nice touch, cakes were amazing too Read other reviews saying you can only have one drink of tea but that isn’t true we had two and were asked if we would like more Definitely recommend Staff were lovely too!

Lovely experience! We booked an afternoon tea, we've been welcomed by the staff at the counter and they showed us our table, the sandwiches were very tasty and such a lovely selection of scones. We have been looked after by a man wearing a green jumper can't recall his name but he was very lovely. They provided us with boxes for our leftovers as we could not eat everything. That was a very pleasant experience. We don't live in Birmingham but will try to visit again soon. Thank you

I paid a visit to cafe Concerto yesterday and I must say that although the prices of the food will make you do a double take, there is no denying that the cakes served are absolute perfection, a delicacy if you will. I ordered a strawberry gateaux, a single espresso and a slice of vegan pistachio cake for my party. The strawberry gateaux was second-to-none. The light notes of the cream paired with the airy yet thin sponge was complemented by the slight tang of the strawberries and mellow texture of strawberry jelly. It was a match made in cake heaven. I would say that the cake was quite sweet but the espresso did an excellent job cutting through that sweetness to make a perfect afternoon dessert. Having tried cafe Concerto’s ice cream as well as their blueberry tart, I must say that there is a treat for everyone at this establishment, not to mention the elegant and ambient atmosphere which only makes the customers eager for more. I will be returning to Birmingham and you can bet Cafe Concerto is on my list. - P.R

Me and my mother visited this place for an afternoon tea. Il be honest I wasn't expecting much at all. However was extremely surprised with how good quality the food was here. The sandwiches had a really good amount of filling and were super delicious 👌 the scones were yummy and the sweet treats went down well. The customer service was great the people were so kind and helpful. We had a lovely afternoon. Would defo visit again as during my visit I did eye up a few different things I would love to try on the menu ☺️ halal options available upon request.
