Peking Buffet

Worst place to eat!!! We got there for dinner lol the food was old sitting owner said they would bring more food out adding only shrimp, we went with out children (3 over age 12 and our 9 year old, party of 6, before we could even finish our food the server keep trying to take our plates, never refilled and on top charged us 15% "típ". When asked if they were putting more food out she said " what else do you want out! It's like we're the customers and spaces were empty and there no meats, old as rice and they had it in a tin pan. Don't go! Don't wast your money here people it's awful! The service the owners! The food! And no we got there @7:36 and they close at 8:30 pm. Yet!! When we arrived over 4 more groups came after us.

We went at about 700 on Saturday evening. The food was old/cold/soggy. Buffet was not being replenished. I took a plate, and couldn’t even eat it because basically it was falling apart from being kept warm in the buffet. There were enough people eating to be bringing out fresh food. I waited a bit hoping they would bring out fresh. I saw they brought out a fresh chicken broccoli dish, and went to get some. First bite, I could tell the meat was straight from a refrigerator by the refrigerator taste and it was hot on the outside and cold on the inside. When checking out, the cashier asked how it was, and I told her it was terrible and I could not even eat it. She questioned me why, so I told her. She said, “so sorry “ and she hen questioned if I had ever been to a Chinese buffet before… I told her I had, plenty of times, and this was the worst I had ever been to. Needless to say, she rung up our bill for 33.00….. and sent us on our way without even trying to alleviate the issue. NEVER AGAIN! Ick! I get that every restaurant can have a bad day, but, fix the issue and at least don’t charge people for LESS than under par food.

We were there about 8 pm on a Wednesday. We had been once before last year and earlier and liked the food. This time the food that was there was tasty but they were running out or short and not replacing much unfortunatly some of my favorites. Also some foods seemed to have much less meat in them than before. Maybe that is the way things are now with shortages and delays and would probably give them another chance sometime but get there earlier. If the results turned out to be the same then we would not go back again.

Food was great. Owner and his wife were nice. We got there at 730 and we were asked if there was anything specific we would like which I thought was very nice. They close at 830 Everyone who thinks the buffet should be fully stocked 30 min before closing is unreasonable. Maybe those people love throwing away food at home but I would think if your running a buffet you wouldn't want all the dishes full at the time of closing. People were still coming in and I specifically heard the owner or his wife mention to everyone that they were closing soon and they should check out the selection be4 deciding to stay. I wished we lived closer so I could eat here everytime I was in the mood for chinese.

We thought the food was quite good at this buffet. It did seem that they had a preponderance of chicken dishes (honey chicken, sesame chicken, general tso’s chicken, chicken with cashews, black pepper chicken), but only one beef entree and no pork entrees. That seemed a little strange because we were there at dinner time on a weekend. I will comment that I didn’t like their fried rice. They store it in a rice cooker and it had a strange flavor to it...I think it needed more sesame oil. All in all, the experience was about what you would expect at a Chinese buffet.

I have been going to this restaurant for over 3 years not once has the food ever been cold it's always been delicious though. The owner truly loves her customers and has always went above and beyond! I will be going to this restaurant with my kids for years. P.S they make the most delicious caramelized bananas I've ever had 😋 they make them for birthdays 🎂 or maybe you can even buy it as a dish hmm never tried that. Also if any dish is ever not hot enough remember the staff doesn't eat the food themselves lol as a food service worker we really rely on the customers to make sure to let us know everything was good and to their satisfaction. If you let them know something was a bit cold they will get a fresh batch out quicker then it took to read this review 😀 hope you give the amazing food a try! #loyalcustomerforever

Price not advertised they seat you before you pay and don’t give your bill till you start eating so you can’t say no. Small variety food tasted old like yesterdays food warmed up. When asked how was everything was we commented on the bad taste and was told we wasted food and still had to pay. But we never asked for cheaper food we were just saying my 3 year old sister would not and could not eat any of the food. But he did not seem to care and just said you still wasted food. Left hungry!!!
