Ordered online.. 4 cars ordered in the drive after we placed our online order , and got their food before us. Still waiting 45 minutes later when the app said 15 minutes.
This place always takes forever but we waited in the drive through line, even though we ordered online, so we could follow the flow of those who ordered but when we got to the window- they sent us to wait in the parking lot…
Currently standing outside the Steak ‘n Shake because it is locked ( currently 10:25 PM) even though the dining room is suppose to be opened until 11:45 PM.

They got our order wrong twice. Once simply because the sauces were wrong and again because we ordered a Chilli dog but got a plain hot dog instead. They were quick to fix both mistakes though. The fries are a little too thin cut for me but all and all delicious food. The shakes are especially good

Love their burgers, fries, Chili Supreme, 5 Way Chili, which are my favorites. Good quality food for the price. Quite a bit to choose from on their menu and service is usually pretty quick. Dine in or eat outside at a picnic table.

First, things have changed during COVID-19. Some of the changes were not good. I can order at the kiosk. I can seat myself. I can put up with plastic utensils. Serving me 5 Way Chili in a paper lined basket. That's bad. Looking like you threw it together and heated it in a microwave, very bad. Some of my food is cold and some is warm. Maybe it's this location. I like Steak and Shake. I want them to remember the good things that built their reputation.

There were no waiters just kiosk. Where you put in and pay for your order unless you have cash and you have to wait for that one specific one that takes cash. It's like ordering your food at a McDonald's. I will not be visiting ever again. You couldn't even smell the burgers cooking

Somebody told me this area is Strawberry capital of the US… and Good God Damn this strawberry shake was FIRE!! I choose to eat light with the chicken fingers and fries, no steak today- I’m out here on business. But I’ll be back.
The service was awesome tho. The manager (if he’s not the manager, he needs to be) made me feel like I was his nephew or somebody. 💪🏾💯 I’ll be back.

Just went to Steak and Shake at 2:00 PM to eat. Waited 10 minutes the waitress and waiters did not even acknowledge we were there much less try to seat. I did tell the manager he had just lost 2 customers before I left. He didn't seem to care.

We Really Love this place! Although I recommend you check their hours during the Holidays, We came here one Christmas Eve about 1AM! They were only Restaurant still open. WOW- That made the Food Especially Good 👍.
Honerable Mention to Cathy, the Manager today, who let me use my "Free Sign-up Shake Coupon", during Happy Hour, which is 3-5 PM, daily.
So, I Definitely recommend to Sign-up through the App to get that "Free Specialty Shake"! Mine was a "Recess Choco-Peanutbutter" which i Recommend a Spoon not Straw to Enjoy.
